The 4gb version should also have a slightly longer battery life as it does not have to power a hard drive. I cancelled my order for the 30gb and purchased the 160gb.

30gb is a bit too small for me, I'll have a hunt around for a 160gb.
You can watch youtube on these devices or link via wireless with your pc and watch any files you have on that.
I don't think the 605wifi 160gb or the 4gb are released yet so they won't have stock. But it's worth the wait.
After doing some research I have discovered that the 4gb version will also take memory cards.

Ive got a 504 (the previous series) and it plays pretty much anything you through at it with a few exceptions.
it wont play mpg files unless you buy a €20 plugin. and the same goes for xvid/divx files if they have ac3/DD soundtracks.
If the soundtracks are normal stereo itll play them just fine out of the box.
Just ordered this, now to sell my 504 :)
Plug-ins are tied to your device serial number so you cannot use a friends download.
