Cheapest I have previously seen this is for ~£180 when Tesco had 20% off, and the previous sales price for Dixons Travel. Amazon are selling for ~£220.

Bought mine for £168 before Christmas :D

Great product, highly recommended. Video playback is great and for the price i do not think there is a better option. Heat added.

Do you have to be flying to outwith the EU to take advantage or does it apply to all passengers?

Same price was available for everyone. I was flying to Austria from Terminal 3.

Dixon's charge the same wherever you are flying.

The OP paid £166.25 and was not charged any VAT. If they had been flying to somewhere in the EU they would have still been charged £166.25, but this time made up of £138.54 plus £27.71 VAT.

Since Dixons have to hand over the £27.71 to HMRC, you could argue that the OP was overcharged.

Nope - I was still charged the VAT. I think this is why Dixons have changed the name of their airport shops from "Dixons Tax Free" to "Dixons Travel".
