Why has it been expired

People don't like Archos here (hivemind). Absolutely no need for it to be expired so I've reported it for you.

For people voting cold, this is the new 7c version. Faster CPU (supposedly overclockable to 1.2ghz), capacitive screen and Android 2.1. However the ram is shrouded in mystery so it's probably still 128mb...

The one in Amazon is the old version with resistive screen, not the 7c version in this post.

Archos great and at this price its a steal! By the way its the newer more exoensive model! :D

They've screwed this up. the 7c was supposed to be a rockchip 2918 with gingerbread (android 2.3) and possible honeycomb as an easy upgrade, but instead

it's come out as a rk28xx with android 2.1.

it smells!

I got the v2 one for£75 from cpw now running 2.2 and it's not an iPad but for what I paid it's great, dont really think I would pay ad much for the upgrade on the screen though :/
