  is there much difference between a dual core and single core tablet?, might buy one for my mother to browse the web.. but dual core ones are not much more expensive.

  Great price, branded tablet for under £50 is a bargain - it has the key features like a capacitive screen, microSD slot and reasonably fast Cortex-A8 processor.
  
  Dual-core will be faster but single-core is perfectly fine for most purposes and unless you had the spare money to spend you wouldn't need to buy the dual. I've had single-core Android devices and they are perfectly usable.

  I think the description may be wrong, if you look on the archos site, there is a capacitive and resistive screen version (described as dual touch). I think this may be the resistive with dabs just cutting and pasting the specs of the capacitive?

  Judging by youtube videos and specs, i would say the deal someone posted before this one on the Ainol Novo Elf II is the better tablet.. of course it costs a bit more, but it has a capacitive screen as well.

  Yep it is, the Ainol Novo Elf II has specs that are a fair bit better and has hdmi out as well for only £75 refurb.. can't really go wrong, better off going for that one and it has the capacitive screen.
  
  Quick look around revealed issues with this archos one, so went with the refurb Ainol.

  Had this for a few weeks last year from CPW and it was a nightmare to use. Sold it for £40 which it was not worth then. Using the screen for typing was terrible.

  Well if it was a mistake, it is their fault ebay policy is clear when it comes to advertisement, if they specified like they did then they have to deliver the exactly same model, otherwise they risk losing their account if there are too many complaints.

  Hmm, It does say Capacitive on the ebay post - I guess the only way to find out is to purchase.
  Not voting at this stage. If its capacitive as the advert suggests its hot, otherwise - not.
  
  If the specs are wrong they will get a lot of returns.
  
  EDIT - Having said that - this is for the 4GB model. The one for 69.98 is the 8GB mode. So maybe this is capacitive after all. Wavering towards Hot now.
