Lowest price. This is a great device for playing android games and Mame roms. Really good specs. Would buy one myself if my Jobseekers allowance came in on time.

"Would buy one myself if my Jobseekers allowance came in on time.". Is that a joke or something?

Sounds good on paper but i believe the screen on that thing is just horrible (_;)oO
Just my opinion folks
#3
The screen gets commended so where is the salt? A decent enough games offering that doubles up as an OK tablet too.

Nice to see hard working folk fund your hobbys, cold for being a scrounger.

Maybe the guy has worked hard all his life and is currently out of work but is funding his own hobby with all the tax he has paid? You don't know him so explain how you can judge?

Should people claiming jobseeker's allowance not have any pleasure in their lives?

Surely it's up to the individual to weigh up the options and see if they can afford it? Is it up to taxpayers to enforce what can and can't be purchased by people who receive benefits?

Whats the difference between this and the '1'

People on hotdeals are more opinionated than the cast of loose women, personally couldn't care less what anyone spent their Jobseekers allowance on. Its their choice.

Rather Jobseekers treat them self's to nice things than the government giving alcoholics and smackheads (apparently its a illness) even more money so they can go out and fund there addiction. Note to government the less money you give alcoholics and smackheads the less they have to fund there addiction.

Are they not the same? Wasting money on non essential things. I know if I lost my job I wouldn't be spending what little money I would get on luxury gadgets.

I don't know who the OP is or what he is like. But if he is on job seekers then at least he is trying to to find a job. Unlike alcoholics and smackheads who sit around all day causing trouble and spending all there cash on booze and drugs.

I only work part time my self. It's hard finding work these days. Even though I do 9 hours a week sure not much but a jobs a job you grab what you can at the moment. I still have to sign on due to only working 9 hours a week. But I like treating my self to something nice once in a while.

Am not making excuses here. But that gamepad is essentially just a tablet with a game controller on. Tablets are actually very useful when searching for jobs. On my own tablet and my smart phone I have job apps ,my CV as well as cover letters. So a tablet is not exactly none essential for a job seeker. Not sure if you know this or not but when you sign on and present all evidence of job applications to the job centre it is all done online via direct.gov.

So you agree it's a non essential gadget?

Am 50/50 on it. As I said I have a tablet my self with all my stuff on. I use it all the time when looking for more work as its just easier plus I can't always get to a PC so I just get my tablet out and do my searching on that. Again I don't know who the OP is but for all we know he may not own a computer or shares a family computer or has to go the library to use there computers. So having a tablet can be essential.

For the most part I do all my searching using my tablet when searching for more work when I can't get near my computer. When am out and about I just use my mobile wifi as a hotspot to connect my tablet to the internet.

Does it matter? Why do you feel that people receiving jobseeker's allowance only deserve basic needs fulfillment?
