This price is lower than Amazon or Play. Looks like a nice piece of kit. Includes the web browser plugin, which can cost extra elsewhere. Don't forget 5% Quidco (which I've not included in the above price).

Watch films, surf the internet and download entertainment onto your widescreen TV with the Archos TV+. Combining a WiFi media player with a high-capacity DVR, the Archos TV+ has a 250GB capacity so you can record and schedule hours of your favourite TV programmes. Plus, it lets you stream media content from your PC onto your TV, and from your TV onto your Archos portable media player. It comes with a web browser plug-in, and includes a three-month subscription to the Archos Media Club for free downloads. Size: 250mm x 164mm x 37mm (9.8" x 6.5" x 1.5").

Just to add to my original post, this unit does not have an integrated Freeview tuner or HD capability. Good deal though if you don't need these.

Thanks for adding the pic orlando08. And I forgot to mention the easypay! :)

hmm its just like an archos 605 in a box, but with hdmi so pretty sweet.

Might be an obvious question but how does it record TV if it doesn’t have a TV tuner of some type? What am I missing- or is it me being thick!!!

Cheers

I think I read a review saying it's not a great product compared to freeview tuners with integrated pvrs

Depends what functionality you want. If you just want a PVR for recording TV then you're probably correct.

If you read the review I would say this thing is a pile-of-**** and considering the things £200 I would not pay that, I would however buy it for say £50

People don’t waste your money.

Gets thumbs down from me

That doesn't stop this being the best price out there for this unit, which is what HUKD is all about. If someone is considering this unit they need to read more than one review to get a balanced opinion before deciding. And QVC do honour their 30 day money back guarantee if you decide it isn't for you.

Would be a great box if it included a freeview tuner and played all formats without having to pay extra for it !
Even then it looks like it doesnt display them properly anyway.Shame could have been a great buy.
