Make the most of it while you can and get those free vouchers to help out with the cost of xmas ..... no minimum spend when you use them.

Just to clarify: If you spend £50 you will receive a £5 voucher, if you spend £100 you will receive a £10 voucher.

No worries, here to help. ;)
Reading the post I can see where you're coming from but this is their usual deal repeated several times a year, thought everyone knew the terms.

I edited the original post to try and make it clearer.

If you spend £50 in argos they will give you a £5 voucher to use on another purchase with no minimum spend.
If you spend £100 in argos they will give you a £100 voucher to use on another purchase with no minimum spend.

That comes under £100+ so you get a £10 voucher.
Really! Is it that difficult to understand? X)

But what if I just want to spend £2.50?

If you want to spend £150 on multiple items, split it into two transactions so one thats £100 and one thats £50 and you'll get a £10 voucher and a £5 voucher.
#13
And for anyone who wants to buy something thats £49.99 or £99.99 and the till staff don't inform you of the deal - buy a Galaxy Gift (small chocolate bar) 65p or 2 for £1 and then you'll qualify for the voucher :)
#14
So if you spend 200 pounds do you get 2 x 20 pound vouchers? or would you be better splitting it into 2x 100pounds shops?
#15
The maximum voucher you get is £10 on a spend of £100 or more. So i'd advise spend £100 on 2 transactions so you'd end up with 2 x £10 vouchers.
#16
TV ad confirmed it too.
#17
Damn, spent £100 in there yesterday.
#18
Yes but these days the voucher seems to come from a third party which you have to sign up with giving lots of detail etc , i passed .
#19
No details required just a giftcard to use in Argos.....
#20
This will stack on top of the 'spend £20, get £5 back' Amex Foursquare deal currently running.
#21
@chipper12 if you intend to buy 2 or more items for the £150, it is better to spend the £100+ (eg £100.25) first at the till in the 1st transaction. THEN get the £10 voucher.

And then immediately after spend the £50+ in a 2nd transaction and get the £5 voucher.

Getting you £15 worth of vouchers. Then if you have anything more to buy, you can utilise the £15 in a 3rd transaction (moreso if you look for sale items to get added value).

I did something similar with my Ipod Touch and other things! It is called 'working it!'

Just an heads up - Check the expiry date on the back. I didn't (and was not told in store) - it was only valid for a month or so.

And don't forget if you're buying toys - They're doing £5 off (Your toy purchase of £35 or more - i think it is)if you take any old toy in :-)

Pretty sure that yesterday was the last day of the 'toy exchange' but the vouchers are still valid as far as i'm aware.

Also anyone considering getting an Argos card - the 6 months buy now pay later scheme has changed today from a minimum spend of £99 to a minimum of £50 :)
