Argos are clearing out their PSP-E1000s for just under £50. With the PSP discontinued, this is probably the last chance to pick one up brand new - not even Amazon are stocking these anymore.

Note that this is the revised budget model released in 2011, with no WiFi and only one speaker. Any games purchased off of PSN can be transferred via USB cable from a PS3 or PC.

Probably the best platform for emulation when it's hacked.

PSP is long time dead due to lack of platform support from Sony. Poor battery life, low resolution, non touch screen, lacking 2nd analogue stick, no hdmi out, no internet and very low powered cpu. There's just too much competition from the android handheld market. I traded my slim and lite in a few years ago for £65 at cex which was a good price. I'd wait until the 2nd hand vita's comes down in price which I think won't be long.

You are better off getting a vita at this point.

You can play psp games on the vita except for physical umd's. UMD iso rips work though.
