Argos Bush BANFF60185 Frost Free Fridge Freezer 60cm WIDE - White £189.99 (was £349.99)

FTOdude170FTOdude170

Looking for a new fridge for our new home (we signed the contract today yippee! :-) ) and found this one on argos website.. i thought it was silver (yes even tho the description says white) but yes it is white.. but it is a great price for a 60cm wide fridge, and the storage in terms of Litres is really pretty good! A star on the efficiency rating too!

With a reversible door, to suit your kitchen configuration, this white-finished Bush fridge freezer is a practical choice for kitchens with limited space. The fridge compartment has four glass shelves, an egg rack and two salad crispers. With three plastic drawers and an ice cube tray, the freezer has frost-free protection, which stops ice crystals forming as food freezes.

I have one of these and the fridge part is huge, but I think the freezer is a bit small if it's for a family.
When I bought mine I noticed quite a few reviews mentioned the noise it makes, and at times it does seem louder than my old one but not so much it would put me off. For the money, I'm pleased with it.

Good price, but will on average cost around £24 a year more in electric than an A+ energy rated model. Most models of similar size and features cost about £100 more, so if it lasts 5 years, it will start to cost more than a more expensive model would cost over that period. With energy prices set to increase and Gritish Bass, and all the others shafting us, it could even be 4 years.

true true.. didnt realise just how much they cost over a year.. after reading how much this and tv's cost over a year.. im going back to finger painting in the dark! lol

It will depend on your location, still plenty available for my postcode. It might be worth your while calling customer services and asking them to check for you. They might be able to get you it from one of the other distribution centres.

Compare it like with like. This is 600 cm not 550cm wide, so more energy definitely but you gain from a larger capacity.

    *60cm not 55 or 600mm not 550mm. ;-)

It is funny, but energy prices get to a point when it matters. I remember the days when land phone calls were so cheap nobody cared, the petrol was so cheap nobody asked about mpg, the water was so cheap nobody cared and so on.
Now we see wages going down while energy prices go up by 100% every 2-3 years.

new items come in all the time, well worth a look and you get the thrill of winning lol
I think when the item says its used it means used by the purchaser until they were sent a replacement. Thats what happened with mine but the item was immaculate.

Goods must be fit for purpose, be reasonable etc as per Section 14 of the Sale of Goods Act. Argos sold it to you and they should have replaced or repaired it. The warranty has nothing to do with the issue.

Since when has Argos sold anything that is " fit for purpose ".......
