Sorry to harp on about the extra battery. but I find with this sort of product you end up buying one at additional cost.

Not sure why this is so cold. Looks okay for an HD camcorder with optical image stabilisation.
There's no point in digital zoom as it just degrades the image. Optical zoom is the only zoom worth having.
