Will this be any good for swimming (just in a pool). Been after a watch … Will this be any good for swimming (just in a pool). Been after a watch for that for a while and this is cheap enough to try it out.... but just wondering.Alex.

100 metre depth spec, that this watch is, is fine for swimming or to wear in the shower. All of my watches have been 100 or 200 metres and i've never had a problem swimming with them.

I voted hot, not a bad looking watch for the price - i have the AQ-161 which looks a lot nicer i think but cost me £20. I had a Sea Pathfinder similar to the above watch but the strap broke after just 2 years.

Voted hot too. A bargain. This had a cold vote to start with and no comment. Why do people vote cold with no comment to back it up. Aaarg. I reckon they vote cold willy nilly just for the sake of it.

looks nice, but on a lighter note remember planes trains and automobiles?Steve Martin gets his room by bartering with his expensive watch and poor old John Candy has to sleep in the car coz they dont want his casio ;0)

I've always used to like Casio watches, but they do tend to sting you when the non-standard strap inevitably snaps. Last time, I got quoted anything between £15-£25 for a replacement, which is just too annoying to pay for a cheap piece of plastic, especially when the watch itself didn't cost much more than that.

I too think this is a good deal and certainly it's a pain in the bum that Casio watch straps are so expensive to replace, but when you're buying a new watch for the price of a new strap, that's hard to argue with.
I bought my previous Casio for about £12 from Argos and have loved the five alarm feature as an alternative to even stretching out of bed for the snooze alarm. I set one five minutes apart and it goes for 10 s each time - a gentler way of bringing in the day!
    I vote HOT!
