Easy - mostly you dont clean it! You tip the used pod s(which contains the mess) into a drip box after each use. The drip box goes into the dish washer once a week as does the thing that holds the pods and the machine based drip tray. I got rid of my old (expensive) espresso machine after having a free sample from one of these. As long as it is the new 15 bar machine it is superb.

The latte had a white pod that does the milk - so you are not blowing steam through milk and making a big mess. The powder, mess etc stay inside the disposable pod.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy one at this price - if I hadn't already paid £80 a couple of months ago,

Thanks for the tip re Iceland for the pods.

EVEN CHEAPER - £36.01

If you go to currys they sell this model for £78 and get them to do the 110% price match....

Comes to £46.01 then £10 cashback via the post I posted a few days ago....TOTAL £36.01.....then go to ebay and buy a bunch of vouchers to get the pods...Currently going for about £1 per voucher which gets you a free box in Asda (I got 60 boxes yesterday along with my new mahcine)...

BARGAIN

I reserved the dolce gusto then cancelled when i realised that the new tassisimo was reduced to, so i went and got that, and for the reason that there is NEVER offers on the pods for the dolce gusto but loads normaly for the pods for the tassimo!

We have had both kinds and both are fine we have the dolce one at the mo as i broke the tassimo:oops:

I have bought the tassimo for a xmas prezzie:santa:

14 bar at Marshall Ward tho, 15 bar here, whats the difference?

I'm confused too, there's two models at Argos

This is 14 bar - was £90 now £60
This is 15 bar - was £100 now £50

which is bizarre because the higher bar rating means better coffee, so the better model is more reduced and cheaper! also with the £10 cashback, Argos works out cheaper.

The 14bar is the old machine, the 15 bar is the newer one, so it's a great price. We've got the 14bar old one and it's really good, only use it at weekends. I think the pods are a little dearer than the Tassimo ones but as said above the Latte Machiatto is most pleasant.
Making the coffee is strangely satisfying, place the pod in the holder, move a lever etc.
Definately register on their site as each box of pods contains a code which converts into points for you to spend online. Haven't received the Christmas email yet though :( plus I missed out on the Asda mag pod offer.

I have got this machine, sold the rubbish Tassimo on ebay. I love my machine, the Latte is really nice, I bought about 30 vouchers on ebay for coffee and my cupboards are full of the stuff.

There is nothing to clean with this one, unlike my old Tassimo
