If you really HAVE to have non rechargeable batteries (and yes some appliances just don't work correctly with rechargeables) then these are available at the moment.

APOLOGIES I PUT IN THE WRONG DESCRIPTION AFTER GETTING THESE MIXED UP WITH THE LITHIUM BATTERIES.
THESE ARE NOT LITHIUM THEY ARE JUST LONGER LIFE SO NOT THE BARGAIN I THOUGHT.

These special packs are freely available in my area but obviously you'll need to check yours.

The standard 4 pack of AA, AAA, 9v, C, D, are also available at a pack price of £3.19.

Great deal these batteries last for ages in my led maglite.

Description is completely wrong - these are NOT the Energizer Litium batteries, they are just their good spec alkaline batteries. Still not a bad price for branded alkalines but you certainly won't get 7 times longer life i'm afraid.

Maybe the title ought to be changed to reflect this

my samsung camera is dreadful on batteries. the only ones that last anytime at all are duracell so i bought some of these buying into the hype of how long lasting they were. the camera won't even turn on with them. utter carp IMHO

Yawn - Are you going to add this to every battery thread, do you hold shares in that company in you link

Sorry I am not holding your attention.

If you hang around long enough on this site, you might learn something that will save you some money, instead of appearing from your posts on various threads like an annoying newbie who does not understand the benefits of this site, and is not offering any constructive information or advice on anything so far, just a lot of sniping remarks :-(

No, no shares, just a rare thing: good service & good gear. I think there are a few satisfied customers here. It is something I rarely am, as service is not often very good.

As it happens, I have had several people Rep me for the information, probably because they are clever enough to realise for them it is potentially one of the biggest money savers they are likely to come across, after getting the right price for gas electricity & phones... it can save a LOT of money, where as original rechargeables were NOT the complete answer, and many people think that is still the case, but these are much better, and worth looking into! :-)

This post has even more good advice: I have a simple solution to your problem.... just IGNORE me, the facility is available to all, used early and often it is very useful, and I recommend it so much, I have used it to ignore you. I am clearly not going to miss anything you say that will be of any use, so far nothing you have said on any thread has been useful, so I will benefit from seeing less sniping comments.

For the hard of Understanding:
Now this means that NOTHING you say from this moment on will get to me, and if you take your vexation out of abusing me, (as often happens) then the moderator will resolve that very quickly, and I won't even know it has happened! End result, I am very happy, and the site continues to be used properly for people looking for good deals and bargains :-)

***************IGNORE REMINDER************************
Because of a quote in a recent thread, it has come to my attention that some people continue to chat away to me, and have clearly forgotten that I have IGNORED them! For the short of memory, if I have IGNORED you in the past, your are STILL ignored: I am not listening - you are talking to yourself! :-)

These may not be Lithium, but they're a damn good battery and easily outlast the best Duracell has to offer.

Outside Energizer Lithium, they're the best on the market.

Tesco still doing 4+4 Free and 8 + 8 Free Duracell batteries this month too, works out at around £4.80 for 16 duracells.

Exact same thing £2.99 in Robert Dyas
