Whenever ive seen these glitches before most people seem to have been succesfull, if only cause my local isnt always so nice. Lucky im visiting my parents atm, and Argos up north is far more accomodating.

I doubt most people get them, I would say the exact opposite.

Some may get them, the majority wont.
#8
Can you reserve them and then just pay at the machine in store?
#9
they did this on xbox360 games a few xmas ago, i thought they wouldnt honour it and ordered 60 games, they honoured it. i then had to go round 8 blockbuster shops off loading the games for the best prices, it was good as the 60 games cost me no more £50 i think i ended up with around £750 store credits which were spent on consoles.

i havent got either the time or the blockbusters to do it again but good luck and order loads online, if they turn up then awesome.
#10
Lol I was just wondering if they would honour multiple copy orders.

quick pay machines wont work as there rated 18 games so needs to be done at a till..

cex payin £2/ £1.90 for a game and only a couple of copies of each in my local one so not going to bother for sake of £10..

good find though for those who want the game etc
#12

Well, I've reserved the two GTA games at my local store so it'll be interesting to see if they honour the deal when I try to hand over my 2p!

Not smart. You need to buy some of the £5 games for them not to notice it.

Even the not so switched on staff will clock 3 PSP games for 3p.
#19
interesting, shame I don't have a PSP.
#20
does anyone know how much we can sell them for at blockbuster?
#21
my reservation confirmation keeps saying out of stock, the following items were not purchased...argh

Will be over by tomorrow. E-mail will be sent to all stores instructing staff not to honour deals once everyone has chanced their arm today.

Some might get lucky.
#29
I've added some to my basket but I think some of them have gone back to full price, anyone else had the same?
#30
Aye, they change from full price then back to the reduce price quite often.

Does someone know if the £5.01 games would get more than that when traded in?
#31
ordered indiana jones and star wars for £15.97 delivered will see what happens never had anything like this honoured before but have been trying to get these for a good price for ages. thanks OP H&R added
#32
I added Fifa 09 and a single copy of GTA to by basket for £5.01

I then changed number of copies of GTA to 10 and it came up with a total of £5.11 for 11 games.

Anyone fancy a job as a System Tester at Argos, coz they clearly haven't got any (allegedly)....

Thanks for the H+R guys ... ive finally got the extra Rep to push me past the 1,000 mark :-D ... Sad i know

Anyhow, hopefully you guys will get it honored. The store i went to yesterday, the assistant phoned somebody after talking to the supervisor and they said to put it through manually. The store i went to today the assistant was a little less helpful, but after some gentle pushing he went off to see what he could do. For what must have been half hour, he then came back with the manager and again manually put them through. Again i persume they must have been on the blower to head office to get it authorised. So, im still hopeful you peps will be succesfull.
