This TV any good? Undecided between this Hisense M7000?

Does 'Super' UHD mean it's proper 10bit and not 8+2?

Really wish that I hadn't seen this review as I bought the 49" version of this TV, largely on the back of it. I have been pretty disappointed with it so far. HD sources look worse on this TV than they did on my 6 year old TV. I can only assume that it isn't very good at up scaling, which at least one other reviewer remarked on. I have tried fiddling with the various different picture settings but I just can't find a combination that works well.

I suspect most people would prefer a TV with a VA panel (this uses IPS).

I'm going to say nothing will beat the m7000 at £599, even the curved Samsung isn't great unless you're sitting in direct line of the TV. I keep holding back hoping it'll go down further when new models are released in 1-2 months time but by then stock may have all gone.

Also note with Argos from comments previously they will send you customer returned TVs sometimes faulty/missing screws etc.

Using code TV10 there are other decent deals but you'll be spending more for I guess very little noticeable difference in the picture.
Sony KD55XD7005 for example £663

Can't help you there sorry specs are similar but would depend on how actual users think it is. I'd just go with the M7000 with the 5 year warranty at JL and AVForums where you have ton of users you're more than sorted:

My old TV broke so bit stuck with cash, so I've ordered the M7000 from Very :/ it's £649 on there. Crossed fingers. Thanks for your help.
