Hope it's better than the LAS160B, 50 watt model. I took mine back as the sound was better on the tv which is also LG. Also no infra red repeater so if you have tv on it's stand and not on the wall you can't operate the tv using tv remote. Manufacturers offer sound bars to improve the sound quality and stick the remote sensor of the tv at the bottom in the middle. Great design feature.....not. Sometimes the clever boys and girls can be so stupid. Stick the remote sensor for the tv on the top. Simple.

Just going back to the LAS160B it had 3 preset modes. They make no difference in the sound. It wasn't a lot of money but after two weeks I thought enough is enough and took it back. Looks like in order to get some decent sound you need to spend more money. If only clear voice actually worked and maybe if the background music on tv shows and films wasn't so loud then perhaps we could actually hear what people are saying. American programmes seem to be the worst affected.

Yes, it has some excellent reviews on Amazon with only 3 at three stars or less and one of thise reviews wasn't any issue with the sound quality. Looks like paying a bit more money really does the trick over the160B which was awful in my opinion, certainly when comparing with my LG tv. Not that many 1, 2 or 3 star reviews on Argos either but anyone can leave reviews on both sites so checked Revoo where you have to prove you bought it in order to leave a review. Same thing there also so looks to be a good buy for the price.
