the extensions is a redemption offer, so you don't have to buy it from argos to get it.

and it's not actually that great, because the extension only costs £1.50 anyway:

(plus you still have to pay £3.50 p+p)

You don't get the extension from Argos.

Only the gate.

See the info on the Argos site:

Free Safety Gate Extension when you buy one of the Lindam safety gates below (please note postage and packaging costs of £3.50). Offer is available via a leaflet which is included in-pack. Offer ends 18th January 2008.

If you live in a Sure Start area then baby gates are only £5 from them if you get benefits or working tax credits. I know several friends that have bought from them.

Don't usually supply pressure fitted ones but still an option for those that don't mind

If you don't need the easyfit I can highly recommend this one:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3755493/Trail/searchtext%3ELINDAM.htm

I tried the one you posted and it had to go back due to the fact it wouldn't apply the correct amount of pressure to secure the gate.

You also get a free light with the gate.
