Hi all
I bought one of these TVs today. It has a very good picture quality and i'm very pleased with it.
The power consumption is 45 watts with 0.9 watts on stand by. There is no DC socket on the back as it says, it will ONLY run on 240 volts. So if you use it in a motorhome or caravan, and dont have hook up, you will have to use a 12 volt to 240 power inverter.
Also the stand will not tilt, and the vertical viewing angle is not great, although the horizontal angle is.
All in all though, i think its pretty good and an excellent price considering it has freeview built in.
Voted hot.

Does the mains plug straight into the TV, or is there a seperate PSU?
My LCD also states mains only, but I do use it without the PSU at the caravan, just plug 12V into the DC socket on the TV, this isn't recommended, although I've never has a problem myself, except when the battery's starting to run low & the backlight dissapears.

The mains lead goes straight into the back of this TV. There is no 12 volt tranformer with this set, neither is there a a 12 volt DC socket on the back of the TV.

I might get one of these tomorrow. Only thing that concerns me is the viewing angle. If I find it's not suitable once I get it home, what are argos like for returning stuff like this?

Cheers ta.

It's not excluded from the 30 day moneyback guarantee, so there shouldn't be a problem, argos are usually very good with returns.

I have not voted cold because of this but I cannot find stock anywhere near me :-(
#20
They are currently showing as Out of Stock for Home Delivery, and no stores anywhere near me have any either.

Looks like another typical Argos 'Bargain Offer'... which no one can actually buy!
#21
they have one in Wick (North of Scotland!!)
#22
Very poor to vote cold just because you cant find stock, it was in stock at 6 stores around me when this deal was posted , but i have seen it advertised on TV so has made it even more popular.
#23
and Balham too

I got 2 in Birmingham!
#25
