Use code TVS10 TO SAVE10% Panasonic TX58DX700B.\x0a\x0aHDR - High Dynamic Range\x0aTaking 4K UHD one stage further, the Panasonic TX-58DX700B is compatible with HDR (High Dynamic Range). This extends the range of colours for enhanced realism. It also delivers brighter whites and darker blacks, helping to give this TV stunning levels of contrast.\x0a\x0aLocal dimming for the best picture from all sources.\x0aEquipped with Local Dimming, the Panasonic TX-58DX700B makes the most of any images - whatever the resolution. Whether 4K UHD, 1080p FHD or standard definition, Local Dimming adjusts the brightness of the screen by zones. This gives greatly improved contrast, as the black sections of the TV can be darker and the whites brighter.\x0a\x0a4K 1400 Hz BMR for a super-crisp response\x0aThe Panasonic TX-58DX700B uses a 4K 1400 Hz BMR (Backlight Motion rate) panel for superbly crisp motion response. This means that when watching action movies or sport, the TX58DX700B has the speed and clarity to keep up with the action without motion blur.\x0a\x0aSpacious sound\x0aIn addition to offering a superb picture quality, this Panasonic 58 inch TV also offers good sound quality too. The built-in 20W amplifier provides full-bodied sound, while VR-Audio True Surround produces a surround sound effect. There's both analogue (via headphones) and optical digital audio outputs, so it's easy to add a home cinema system or soundbar/base.\x0a\x0aEffortless operation with my Home Screen 2 powered by Firefox OS and Voice Assistant\x0aHighly rated by the reviewers, my Home Screen 2 offers an attractive and clear operating interface which is also easy to customise. By using clear, superimposed icons, it's easy to find the function you want. Better still, with just a few clicks you can get your favourite apps, web pages or even TV channels to appear on your own customised Homepage. With clarity and easy customisation, this is how Smart TV should be! Voice Assistant means you simply have to speak into the controller to bring up content and search results.\x0a\x0aIntegrate your entertainment\x0aWhen it comes to smart TV flexibility, the TX58DX700B has all the features you need. A wide range of web apps are complimented by a full web browser. DLNA certified streaming makes it easy to transfer music and video files from your home computer, laptop or NAS drive to the TV. Also standard is Swipe and Share functionality. Swipe and share lets you use the Panasonic VIERA app for smartphone media sharing. By using the app on your smartphone or tablet you can easily stream pictures, 4K videos and music straight to the TV - no cables required.\x0a\x0aFreeview Play for easy access to catch-up TV\x0aThe Panasonic TX58DX700B features Freeview Play. This combines catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television to make it easy to watch what you want, when you want. It's free from subscription and compatible with existing broadband services, while BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All 4 and Demand 5 are available without having to open specific apps, giving effortless scroll-back TV (requires broadband Internet connection with a minimum speed of 2Mbps)

Sorry if I'm being a noob but is this'll be a Vestel panel, right? Model number ends in 00 (at least I think that's the guidance I was given!).

Still want so badly

I have the dx750b. It has a beautiful picture but is more expensive but is a proper Panasonic. The dx700 is a 50hz panel and the 750 is 100hz

Panasonic only used vestal for a year and due to poor manufacturing and complaints and loss in sales they stopped using them.

undecided over hisense m3300 or a philips 49PUS6401 for a gaming TV or stick with a normal HD samsung or sony.

What qualification for this code TV10 to work as doesnt work on the hisense or phillips?

I'm using the 40DX700 as a PC monitor, it's great, much better than the Samsung UE40JU6400 it replaced. Purchased from Very for £358 with 10% discount and Quidco.

this or the Sony 55XD8005? I'm replacing a 4K LG that decided to die after the last software update. Mainly used for Gaming and Netflix.

I use the 58 inch version for 2160p pc gaming
I've got a 1080. Ti custom card and the graphics are breathtaking. There's no perceptible gaming lag either. I bought this TV £1200 and not regret it.

They are 60hz panels. Forget the 100hz refresh rate they are 60hz. The dx 700 is definitely not 50hz.
