ref vouchers....

if you buy something which is just under £50, but buy something else item x to take it over £50, but then say in a weeks time take item x back, would the voucher still be valid?

anyone know?

You normally have to give the voucher back when you return something or they take the amount of the voucher off the refund they give you.

They are annoying though. They should reduce the amounts to £99.99 and £49.99, But, i guess that would defeat the purpose:roll: lol.

Thanks HaRdy

thank you! I wanna buy a ipod classic so i'll get a £10 on that purchase

IF this is the same as last time you MUST buy them this way

Buy (in multiples) £50 in gift vouchers get £55

So if you were buying someting for say £150

stage 1 buy £100 of vouchers - get £110 back
stage 2 buy £50 of vouchers - get £55 back
stage 3 buy buy your product for £150 - get £10 voucher back

Therefore instead of 1 cash purchase of £150 and £10 voucher back
you will get £15 for the vouchers you bought + the £10 - in total - £25

PLEASE check in case there is something in the terms and conditions that might have changed

Hope this helps

guys i work for argos if u spend £50 or more regardless on what you spend its a free £5 voucher and £100 or over its £10 free voucher.

my adivce would be to those ordering lots of items to calculate your prices and split your baskets ie: your buying 10 items for £150 instead of putting it all in one sale split it up so you can get £15 worth instead of £10 :)

hope this helps

so if i'm looking at buying a 60gb PS3, it'll prob be £350 + 2 games.

would i get 3x£100 vouchers and get £30 back and 1x£50 voucher back and get another fiver.
then spend the vouchers and get another £35 leaving me with £70 vouchers? :w00t:
#24
Can you buy vouchers with vouchers? I could buy £50 worth and get a £5 voucher, then with the £50 worth of vouchers buy another £50 worth of vouchers and get another £5 voucher etc.

Unlimited free vouchers!

That's what the guy said!

If it's true then this is effectively a 20% discount (although the discount is received as vouchers). I'm sure someone would've taken the **** in a previous year and they would've stopped this happening as they run this promo every year.

ahh :(

£45 vouchers still not too bad.
#28
guys just to clear things up

spend £50 or more get £5 free voucher

spend £100 or more get a £10 free voucher

you can redeem these vouchers on any order eg spending £130 take away your £10 voucher. You will then be issued with a another £10 voucher because the amount spent is still over £100.

hope this clears up the confusion... remeber try and split your orders up into different transactions to get more vouchers.. ie buy £150 worth of stuff... split it ino 2 orders so ie over £50 gets you a £5 voucher and over £100 gets you a £10 voucher.

This way you get £15 worth of vouchers rather than £10 if you put everything on the same order..

You said to buy vouchers first, then buy the item with the vouchers getting 2 x the vouchers, ie his original calaulation of £70 was right according to what you said.

Edit - He's right I think, £45 worth if what you've said is correct? £35 for buying £350 vouchers, £10 for using them in one transaction ie ps3? Although if this is correct then you could keep on buying vouchers forever and getting free ones back so I think you have your wires crossed!!!

No you said he will get 3 times £10 vouchers and 1 times £5 voucher for the £350 spend on vouchers, then get a £10 voucher back when using the £350 on one spend, so total vouchers back £45
