Been looking for a tv for a few days and 279.99 for a full hd 39" smart tv looks a good price! Plenty in stock in liverpool, probably still go for the new sony range personally but still a good deal.

Got the 46" in the sainaburys deal for about £430 and just set it up last night, not to bad a picture. Voted hot.

Could you tell me what power input it has? Is it the 3 pin kettle flex type?
Im looking to replace my samsung plasma but I've routed the wires through the wall, so if it has the 3 pin, will save cutting the wall again!
Thanks

I bought the Sainsburys offer...it has figure 8 shape, 2 pin connector for power, like the ones you used to get on a ghetto blaster

You can get adaptors from IEC (Kettle) to figure 8 or cloverleaf on amazon or ebay so it shouldn't be a problem as long as the lead isn't wired. The cable based ones wont have any clearance issues

I would assume it has an Etherley port instead or you can buy the WiFi adapter?

You would need a wifi dongle

Or Ethernet cable

Save the cash and get a Chromecast if you have an android phone as these "Smart" features are poor at best.

I'm picking up this TV later today and already have a Chromecast. Kinda excited haha

Yeah heard good things about chromecast, personally I only want a tv for my ps4 with a good response time so going for the sony w7 range, but let me know what this Samsung is like when you get it setup

Motion rate 100Hz

This is not going to be great for gaming/watching sports??

I've had this TV since August last year, no problems, it's got a great picture and has Netflix, Amazon Prime and all the catchup services built it. Plus plug a decent sized USB drive or hard drive in and you can pause/record TV too.

Heat from me, just a shame I got it when it was £420...

Yes it is.

It just that it's not on their list of compatible sets, have you used this actual model and it has the app and works?

Is streaming from your android phone to this tv relatively easy and good? I think it's the allshare feature and I presume I need the dongle for that too
#28
Can't seem to reserve this, anyone managed to to do it yet??
#29
Thanks OP, reserved one, collection in 5 days though!
#30
Those who cannot reserve, try widening your search for stores, may be available to collect in a few days from another store. In my area, only available at two stores out of about 10 that show.

Ah well, their loss!!

This is a great TV, picture and user interface is excellent, what's more it links up very easily with your home WiFi network with Ethernet cable or through WiFi. I wasn't initially that fussed about having a smart TV until I got this, you can even look up YouTube and other video/pic content on your phone and view on the TV through WiFi
