Not quite the heady Black Friday price of £40-odd but good luck if you can get close to that price now, and post that here, before I pull the trigger myself :)

IIRC the Xbox formats the drive to a proprietary format, so it can not be used for anything else.

Also, you can only use media from an external drive on PS4, not install games on it like the Xbox. Unless that has changed recently...

Only if you cut it in half... :)

Seriously though, no it can't. To use it in a PS4 you'd need to take it out if the casing and plant the bare drive in the console, whereas the Xbox can only be connected normally in it's housing

Did this go so cold just because it had been available on Black Friday for under £50? I'm looking for a USB 3.0 Portable HDD to use with my new Xbox One S/EA Access. I have some vouchers to put towards the purchase & thought it looked like a good price for a none refurb on the High Street. I vae added heat to make it slightly less chilly (-143).

After spending some time looking for a 2TB USB 3.0 Portable HDD I picked up one of these a few days ago. Finally got round to setting it up with my Xbox One tonight. Sorry this didn't get any warmer - especially considering a Tesco deal for £60 has gone over 500 Degrees.....
