voted cold, waste of money, will end up sparying everywhere and it's not exactly hard work to use a brush.

:)good price,i have the cuprinol one and does make the job easier

Go to any car boot sale there are there on most stalls along with the foot spars, easy to pick one for a quid with a foot spa thrown in.

That advert on the telly showing how good they are is the biggest piece of misleading crap I have ever seen
#7
I bought one a few months ago not this one but same principle, waste of time ended up using brush + the advert never shows you having to take the fence panels out or masking them off
when you have concrete posts & gravel boards ???, now use my sprayer for weed killer :)

i agree they are a waste of time. if you use any other then what they say they block up and are a hassle to keep clean.
Had one last year and used it 3 times now it just sits in the shed and i use a brush.
Adverts are very mis-leading at the best of times.:x

Does NO-one ever ask the question - WHY are they knocking them out ?

Wouldn't be because they are top sellers now, would it.

Very often, as with any product, it might get superceded but usually, its cos they are rubbish.

Anyone with concrete posts might like an idea that I use when painting the fence.

Get a bit of gutter and place over the post before painting and be sure to slide it between post and fence panel. Better still use TWO bits (both sides of panel). When that side is done move it to next panel/post - Makes a much better and easier job.

It must be useful for sprayin weeds :-D and is a good price for a weed sprayer

There's a black cat that comes into our garden to terrorise our little Tiddles. Do you think this is powerful enough to fire water several metres to moisten the blighter into submission?
#13
Dont know but iam sure that a garden hose would do :whistling:

Makes fence and decking treatment really quick. Just take a little time cleaning it all out and there are no probs.

I use a watering can. Just put the timbercare juice into it and then stand on a chair and pour down the fence. Took me about 5 minutes to do the entire fence and it looks great.

Think you're missing the point... reducing waste & being efficient :)

i brought one of these last year for spraying a new garden shed. Absolute rubbish, it would work ok for about a minute and then get blocked and that was the end of it. i returned and exchanged it twice before giving up and getting my money back. Ruined the bloody shed as well as i you can see the part where it was sprayed is darker compared to the rest of the shed. Be warned and use at your own risk.

These are good if you have a lot of fence - but voted cold - you can get pretty much the same think in asda for £3

my dads neighbor sprayed his fence and covered my old mans brand new mono blocked driveway in dots of fence treatment. Insurance claim for a couple of grand pending!

Cold, these are awful. You might as well put the fence treatment stuff in your mouth and spit at ya fence panels lol.
