It's hard to tell from the pics, but I find that cheapo alarm clocks often only allow you to set the time and alarm by moving the time forward - so if you miss the time you want you have to go round the whole 24 hour cycle again. Does anybody know if this one has both forwards and backwards setting of time/alarm?

I've had this very alarm clock for over 6 years now, I know this as I bought it when I moved into my new house (shows how old the design is)... with the battery backup it has never EVER let me down... and its sturdy... god knows I have thumped it a few times...

I got a nice silver one with blue light numbering for about £6 including delivery on Ebay. It still works had for a year now!

True - the Agros one is a bit ugly as well - but the Tesco one just looks so nasty. Not just pig ugly, more like Jade Goody pig ugly!
