Looks awful and many pieces will need replacing in no time.

I believe thats the meaning of the word 'STARTER' :|
things like this can be very deceiving , i had something similar, 15 years ago and ive still got most of the pieces now, and with lots of house moves, lots of cooking, children banging around with them etc, theyve certainly been put to the test :)
perfect for anybody starting up, especially on a budget , heat from me :D
Ah, so starter means that it will work for about a day and then you need to upgrade to a half decent set?

Absolute tat, put the money towards a better set and then you won't need to buy another next week!
Good for someone moving out on a budget. They don't look that durable but im sure with carefull use they'll last long enough.
hot deal
Currently collecting deals of everything going to need when moving out, these should come in handy.
Think this is all a student needs
not bad. :{
I had this at the beginning of this year for starting uni, and it's ok, definitely for £5.99. Two bits of mine have broken, the potato masher (first use, don't know whether it was just mine or whether they're all junk) and the smallest knife (after a fair few uses, tried to cut something too hard and the the small part of the plastic handle that holds the blade in snapped). Other than that it's been absolutely fine. I've definitely got £6 worth of use out of it anyway.
Cheap is the most important issue for many on here. Quality counts for nothing so I suppose it must be hot using that reasoning.
Thanks for this.
Gutted, sold out in all my stores.
Excellent, exactly what I needed! Have some heat!
Good deal for the price and many high price versions don't last forever. :)
So 40% broken - doesn't sound absolutely fine (_;)

Heh, I'll admit it's not ideal, but you get other knives which have held up perfectly well for me. If you tried to buy all the quality bits (like the can opener, scissors, boards, grater etc..) separately, you'd already be up to £6, so just consider the other bits bonuses ;)
