  I believe it would be a E14 as one review said it used a small fitting.

  don't bother with these i bought one last month the bulb heats the plastic and melts it hence why there so cheap

  Use a cfl or led bulb, heat should't be a problem?

  Ive got one, you get what you pay for. Very cheap and plasticky, bottom of base is foam and flimsy. Plastic around bulb is thin flimsy plastic and the bulb can very easily heat ad melt it i.e deforming it. Finally it requires wierd narrow screw in bulbs i had to specially buy for it.
