Description states "You may receive a different brand named item of similar specification, but which is cosmetically different". I reserved one of these yesterday and got a george foreman grill worth £19.39 instead. It had a sticker on with the product number 423/3299 but when you peeled this off it was labelled as 422/3601D. Bit like the family guy boxset a few months ago they must be clearing stock

Thanks

Anything you would normally grill (unless it's delicate like fresh fish etc) although I just tend to use mine for bacon and toasted sandwiches

Reviews don't seem to great for the argos one, good if you get a george foreman one though

i brought the argos one at christmas ( cook works), hot deal if u get the george foreman if you don't then it's pretty cold, the argos one don't work and had to return it and got myself a quality one instead (george foreman). Although it's in warranty , i dont really think it doesnt worth it as it wont last that long so if you want it to last get a quality one.

Thanks, cant wait for toasted sandwiches!!!

WARNING: I have one of these, they are great apart from the melting plastic and the fumes the melting plastic gives off

The red light plastic is nearly totally melted and the top is discoloured and starting to melt
#16
Reserved the last one, cheers OP. I wouldn't use it much so never felt like paying a lot for one. But when you do want q quick toasted sandwich it would be great. Nice if I get the George Foreman but even if it's the cheapie it might still be OK with my light usage.

Hate them! Completely dry out your food and make it taste of cardboard.

Still hot price.

I went and asked to see it before I paid.

They sent a Argos Cookworks one down the conveyor, so I asked if they could send a George one down instead, the sales guy rang upstairs and they sent a George one down.

Happy days!

Cheers OP, H&R added.

what did you tell him so he could sent george one instead, didn't he puzzled of why you ordered cookworks one and expect george one?
