Superb - thanks for the heads up!

My Mum has reserved the £249.99 ALBA 32" TV & £79.99 Black DS for collection today.

Does anyone know if you get the vouchers if you have reserved items? I'm thinking about cancelling those reservations, and re-reserving for collection tomorrow instead.

Also, are there any Argos filler item search engines around? I'm thinking of buying the TV first, with something to take it over £250, then going back for the DS with £25 worth of vouchers. (Would I get a £5 voucher from buying the DS as well?)

EDIT - TO AVOID CONFUSION - I WAS WRONG.

YOU ONLY GET ONE £10 VOUCHER FOR A PURCHASE OVER £100. I.E. YOU CAN SPEND £350 ON A TV, BUT WILL ONLY GET £10 VOUCHER FOR IT.

Phone your local store and ask them to extend the reservation for you

I did that a few years ago

Bought £100 gift voucher and got £10 voucher free.

Did it 3 times, then used them all to pay towards my PS3!

I think they've closed that loophole now though. might give it a try anyway instore

If I were to purchase something over £50 but use gift cards to spend less than £50, would it still qualify for vouchers?

No I was wrong, I was thinking about something else.

You only get £10 for any individual purchase over £100.

i.e you can spend £500 on a TV, but you'll only get one voucher for £10
#25
Thanks for posting deal

Has anyone bought from the internet and received a voucher? i did that about 3 weeks ago but they never sent mine, and kept saying "it will be there soon".
#29
Guys, If you reserve the black DS in store for pick up, how can you apply the £5 voucher?? Do you have to buy online? Any help would be great....
#30
I have a fridge due monday...will it come with the vouchers? I'm guessing not as the promo ends on sunday :(
#31
I think they send the vouchers seperately by post.
#32
last time round this worked and think its the same again (despite being contray to the t&c's)

If you are buying large items say something for £300...

Buy a £100 gift voucher, therefore recieving a £10 giftcard

Repeat 2 more times (until you have £300 of vouchers and £30 on giftcards)

Purchase item with the vouchers you bought.

:)

Iwhen I ordered some furniture acouple of weeks agao, the voucher number was on the email confirmation. They just give you the number to be used the next time you order.

You have to buy something first that costs more than £50. Then they will give you a voucher for £5 that can be used to buy something else.
#36
Ah splendid, does this apply online AND instore??

Thanks.
#37
Protip:

If buying multiple items, buy them in seperate trasactions, and use the voucher against the next purchase.

Ie Camera £55, memory card £10.

Buy the camera first, get the voucher then buy the memory card minus the voucher . Therefore you're not stuck with a voucher you don't know what to do with.

You can't use the voucher for online purchases, but you can if you reserve and pay instore.
