I'm not moaning about anything mate...just making an observation about the camera. I'm sure this cam is fine for folk who are in the market for one. There is definitely a gap in the market place for multi functional camcorder/camera's though (unless you pay silly money).

It's an HD (1920x1080) resolution camcorder, why would you expect anything else?
2mp for stills just seems low on a Camcorder of this price and spec. I get that its primary function is a camcorder (and not a camer) but I'm a single device kinda guy.

Bought the DP220 today from Argos for £100.98 with a free toy car and a £10 voucher.
I've got one of the cheap £15 ones in the other car but it's burnt a couple of memory cards.
I'd have usually always bought from Amazon but with the suction mount Amazon was £107 against £91 at Argos.

The unit is a lot easier to use than the cheap units and just seems better built.
Done some recordings on the way home from work and more than happy with the quality.

The 200 is 69.99 at argoose too...
My dad calls it Argoose.
Which is better, the 200 or the 220?
The 220 has a few extra features like GPS, lane departure and front collision warning functions but strangely the 200 has a wider viewing angle of 160 degrees versus 130 for the 220. Those extra 30 degrees might be invaluable if someone comes at you from the side. Like someone those just overtaken you and decided to move back into your lane without fully driven past you. Which has happened to me before.
Thanks. I noticed that too in the specs. So maybe the 200 is better than the 220 after all?
I've decided the 200+32gb is better than the 200 and the 220.
Transcend 32GB DrivePro 200 Car Video Recorder with Battery and Wi-Fi - New 2016 Edition https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01B4VMGJG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_6r1jxb0XYXXA6
Reason is, it's £99 on Amazon, same price as the 220 at Argos. No £10 Argos voucher but you get a 32gb microSD card included. No GPS but you get the 160 degree viewing angle of the 200 (the 220 only has 130 degrees). You also get the built-in battery (for car park incidents) of the 220 that is lacking in the 200.
The 200+32gb is apparently "the" 2016 model. Does that mean the 200 and the 220 are older models? Not sure. It's a funny configuration of models but, in short, I think the 200+32gb is the best of the bunch.
Well spotted, I'd imagine all they've done is refitted the 200's with the newer batteries. Its a hard toss up between the 2 now as most people dont want the gps. Its now really aperture vs angle between the 2.
I'm not sure what benefit the GPS is really.

Having a 32gb card is a bit pointless in one of these, it only means you will have more vidoe to have to search through and the protected recordings still remain at 15. The BIG chrome bezel is also hardly steathy and it stands out much more than the 220's, lane departure works quite well on the 220, car in front less so as it isn't very good at detecting corners. Between the 2 I prefer the viewing on the video of the 220 over the 200 too as it is a lot less fisheye'd.

Oh and yes I had a 200 prior to buying the 220.

I did the same. I can imagine the lane departure and frontal warnings are probably more of an annoyance then a useful feature anyway. The only downside is the lack of battery, so the date & time isn't remembered by the unit. I'd have the extra £30 saving though.

I used the £5 voucher towards some bed sheets.

The mg5751 is the mg5750 in white. Canon use the 1 at the end on a lot of their products to indicate white colour. The guts are the 5750 which is almost identical to the 5650.

This is a great price so voted hot, however I did order this printer from Amazon a couple of months ago on a lightning deal. Imo it is noticeably more mechanically noisy and older generation MG Pixma models. I have had 5400s and 6150s... They were all quiet, this is noisy. Read some of the reviews, I am not the only one to think this.

However in terms of quality of print and scan and low running costs they are great. Paper handling imo has got worse though, my 6150 had 2 proper paper trays, and the top tray was at the back, the bottom tray was a full hidden cassette. These feed in from one front tray only so paper sticks out much further.

they do this from time to time. it's not an error

I used to have the older oval one. They do take longer to hear up only 1 degree increase per hour compared to 2 degrees on the smaller ones but they don't loose as much heat my New smaller Miami looses 6 degrees overnight if switched of. tge bigger ones only lose 3 to 4 degrees but you have to use more chemicals and rainwater pools more with a larger surface area

Could I picked your brains - any ideas how much it costs to run? And how long does it take to heat up?

Hi. Just been looking into getting one and it seems the average cost if you leave it in constantly in £8-10 a week and it takes about 12 hours to heat up the normal size ones but about 24 hours to heat up the Monaco which is the larger one.

Use this deal on Flubit via its Elite service and they'll reduce it further - got mine Thursday for £388 - tried to post it but was told as it was a Flubit deal I wasn't allowed.
Good idea. I'm going to Flubit now and see the result :) I'm on the fence.

Hi, when I filled it up 2 weeks ago it took all day and reached 40 degrees in the night. Mine is under a timber gazebo so it's protected somewhat l. I've also got the foam floor pieces used for kids floors linked together around the tub as extra insulation and I chuck my outdoor cushions on the lid to keep the heat in. I'm on economy 7 so I heat the tub at night as it's cheaper. I dont know the cost, sorry. They retain heat really well. Mine sits on decking which stops the cold from underneath.
The way I justify the running costs is to try and be energy conscious in the home...lol

Well, they certainly will not be made of cheese (if they were one could always eat them in sandwiches)I'm voting hot on this one, it is a good find, and a perfectly good set of various sized bits for domestic jobs.
But how much do you think they weigh? I could probably get a fairly large block of that tasteless rubbery crap (that I like) from Tesco for that price.

Sorry, but for cheese it's not good value, and I doubt putting them in a grater will do any good.

Stilton is most definitely the king of cheeeses but for drilling purposes you need 'Hard Cheese', maybe a cheddar. But either way they will probably be longer lasting than cheapo drill bits

From personal experience cheap drill bits are a false economy as they are very soft and will become blunt very quickly, snap or even bend (You had to see that to believe it). I bought a Bosch X-Line Titanium set many years ago and they have drilled hundreds (quite possibly thousands) of holes. Occasionally I may snap a 1mm or 2mm bit but I just go and buy a replacement Titanium bit from Toolstation for a pound or two to keep the set complete.
I agree, they'll be made of cheese.

Well, they certainly will not be made of cheese (if they were one could always eat them in sandwiches), but the material will not be as good as a titanium coated bit (note the lack of capitalisation, no brand name is implied). This set would be perfectly good for a domestic user who wanted to have a good variety of different sized bits to use around the house, particularly for soft materials such as wood, plastic, copper and aluminium.
I generally use titanium coated bits myself, they do last longer and tend to break less whilst drilling more resistant metals, but I also keep a set like this in my electrician's kit, and another at our holiday house.
I'm voting hot on this one, it is a good find, and a perfectly good set of various sized bits for domestic jobs. If the user needs something better he or she will realise that very soon indeed and buy some better bits just in the sizes required.
Good find OP, heat added.

Does it work for in store as its not working online for me ?

These are crap, they will literally fall apart.

You'd be better buying a 2nd hand solid oak table & chairs.

Were did you bring it from?

a week ago I bought their Heyford set with 4 padded seat chairs (5208405). the table top is nice, the legs though thick, look bad. the chairs are ok even though I hate fake leather seats.
just checked the set again and noticed its dropped in price by £40, called them up and they processed a refund of the difference :)
I echo what others say, argos furniture is just bad. im hoping I get a few years out of it, seen as it only cost me 190£ for a large set.

LEGO MARVEL AVENGERS PS VITA - ARGOS £14.99 C&C

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. Flying is awful, you seem to barrel roll everywhere when pushing forward. Draw distancesc are meant to be terrible when chasing collectables. I couldn't really tell you much else as I haven't been able to get it out of my little ones Vita for over a week. She really likes it.

Is this the same game as the big boy consoles or is it another disappointing cut-down?
It's 'meant' to be similar to big boy and the YouTube looks pretty good. I hated the Marcel Superheroes on Vita while loving the Ps4 version so we'll see. Worth a pop, just reserved in Staines Argos.
Review here which may help: http://thevitalounge.net/2016/02/01/lego-marvels-avengers/
Thanks - reserved :)
The link isn't working for me (desktop Firefox) but this does:http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Search/searchTerm/vita+avengers.htm

Thanks dude my link was done on Android mobile so this will help others.

its definitley more like the ps4 version. much better than the "lego marvel super heroes" on the vita which had the sort of strange camera angle in it.
