Great game, really enjoyed this one. You can play as Lego Steven Spielberg too if you get far into it! :{

Fireballs added.
Voted hot for price and also my girls say this is a better Lego game than the others they have played, probably because hey are a bit older now (10-12yrs)

It is alright, but Lego HP and Lego Star Wars on 3DS/DS were better.

I was one of the luck ones to get this gadget before the price/glitch got sorted. I tried it today to make home made chips from fresh potatoes and this is my honest opinion in case the offer comes up again. I know it is early days but the machine looks very well built. My chips was left for about 40 minutes as advised by DeLonghi. I found that you only need to leave it on for about 25-30 minutes. My potatoes were sprinkled with a bit of mixed spices. When done, the chips looked like the best tasty wedges ever. That was the best chips I've ever tasted. I bet people have mixed opinion on the product. If I had followed the review of one of the links in this thread, I would not have bought it but thank goodness I didn't. I can't wait to use it to make oil-less spiced chicken wings. Enough said.
Or you could save money and make chips from potatos, part cook them in a micro for a minute or so, place in baking tray and lightly spray with one cal and cook in a pre heated oven for 20 minutes (_;). But if you must go for one of these air fryers then I guess this one is a good deal 8)
and end up with nothing like a chip that these make

I have no idea what they taste like but the method I described taste very nice for home made chips :)
just checked, £ 99.99 1/3 of? not £49.99
Was interested in this last night, but the price has gone up to £99.99 this morning.

You snooze, you lose. But judging from the mixed comments, maybe a Philips Air Fryer would be the better buy.

Edited By: ashleyh on May 27, 2016 07:13
Ive had 2 actifrys in the past, this is much better built, and cooks just as well. Why they cant add a power off timer is beyond me though. Great deal. HOT!

Will Sky Sports be in 4K next season?
11% TCB now.

Im gonna get it, update the software as per the latest update on the Philips website, and give it a whirl for the weekend. If its not up to par then I can take it back. Argos are very good with returns in my experience.
For me Philips is only really and option when you consider the Ambilight TV. As far as I can see their smart apps are not great, the TV's are made under license by another company, reviews for a number of sets are pretty average etc etc. All that being said this is a super price and of course on that basis I've voted hot.

From the Trusted Reviews, err, review: "If you’re thinking of gaming on the 55PUT6400, you should be aware that we measured its input lag – the time it takes to render its pictures – at around 50ms. This is a pretty average result that could result in the TV sometimes affecting your gaming performance. This is even more of a possibility as, in our tests, the 55PUT6400 sometimes registered measurements nearer 70ms."

If you were that serious about gaming you wouldn't be playing on a 50" tv anyway.

Hats quite a silly comment, why would I want to sit 10' away from my current 40" TV when I could use a TV like this albeit one with a DECENT input lag? I use a 1ms,144Hz monitor with my PC but I'm not prepared to move my Xbone into another room inatead of lounging comfortably oO
Was very tempted because of inbuilt Google App store but review from AVforum does highlight this issue which puts me off. Being user of Android box, I agree dual core is far too less to hold the weight of Android 5.1 processing load.
"This all looks very impressive on paper but there is one stumbling block and that's the power of the processing built into the PUT6400. Unfortunately Philips are only using a Dual Core processor and given all the new features and the capabilities of the Android platform, the TV simply struggles to keep up. We like the basic Android layout and navigation is very intuitive but in terms of responsiveness it was slightly slow in places and the TV actually crashed at one point, resulting in us having to reboot it."
Shame, just read that, killed it for me too. What can I search for next?

Collected 2 pairs today, they did try charge me £19.99 but I showed her email on phone and all was ok, you should pay what you reserve.
the price you pay will be the price in store on the day of collection
And I've always been told that, and yet this morning the woman at the tills said that as I had reserved at that price I could have them at that price, so I got 2 pairs for £9.99 each. I'm guessing she was probably wrong, but I'm not complaining - So if not too far out of your way, might be worth a punt.
Have you had a chance to try the headphones out yet? Any good?
No idea to be honest, but I bought them because my son had a pair of these (or similar) that were called JVC Extreme Explosives, and they were great, so for a tenner I pounced. :-)

Lesson learned though, if it looks this good to start with, I will pay and collect from now on rather than reserve and collect.
Think they put wrong price on, they're £19.99 now when you add them to your trolley.
Do Argos honour price glitches? I've reserved a pair at £9.99 (and one of the in ear sets for £4.99). Would prefer to avoid a wasted trip :)
I've no idea to be honest, you could always try it as, and perhaps screenshot the proof it says 9.99 on the product still.
Well, I paid for the in ear ones outright (gives me 7 days to pick those up). & these over ear ones have the price confirmation via email. SO, I'm hopeful :)
If you've already paid you should be fine.

jeez are you still going on about this poxy bag?! I did consider it yes, but then realised I have a life and 2 billion better things to do. so I took it back to Argos. got my money back and bought a bag that didn't come with an additional sewing project. problem solved.

If I'm honest it's less about the bag now and more about you. If you liked it enough to buy it then why not go with the easy fix? It's hardly a project unless you count waking up each day a hard fought achievement. Then to scoff at the suggestion that mass produced items may need a bit of tailoring in order to make them suitable for the needs of some people. Maybe you should get on with the 2 billion things in your life that you need to get on with rather than spouting your lazy defeatist attitude online to people who want a cheap Star Wars bag.

I was simply offering some insight into a serious design flaw with this bag. if I knew about it before I bought it I wouldn't have bothered.

I was simply offering you an easy fix. Now you have the bag have you considered investing in a needle and thread and stitching through the velcro to solve this problem? I've seen sewing kits for less than £1 that I believe would be up to the job.
Right people, I've got the bag! I love it!!! Ok it probably won't hold a heavy laptop or a couple of bricks but it will hold a few light books, a PE kit, a lightsabre, charisma, and sandwiches! The velcro could be a problem but I think the stitching solution would work. Honestly though I can't see my nephew carrying anything heavy enough to cause a problem. It is a children's bag after all :)

If you want to debate Brexit, find somewhere else. There's a million other places on the Internet to discuss it, don't really need to drag it into a deal for a bin, do you?

Got one thanks. :)
I've bought 1 of these in the past and also had it replaced, both had the same problem. They detected my hand to open every time fine but they also didn't detect my hand remained there so closed before I had fully finished.

Switched to a Simple Human pedal bin which has a bigger opening, dedicated fitted liners and also no awkward areas to clean.

Good price for this one though.

Got it free on EA Access last month so cold deal.
Wow that's amazing seeing that EA Access is not available on PS4

Yep. Sony had the chance to have EA Access but turned it down. I paid £18 for 12 months of EA Access last month and games are added tot he Vault all the time. So far I have the following:

Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, Fifa 14, 15 & 16, Madden 25, 15 & 16, Rory McLroy's Golf, Dead Space, Plants vs Zombies Garden warfare 1, TitanFall, Peggle, Need for Speed Rivals, and there is also NHL and NBA games too as well as some others.

Hoping Star Wars Battlefront and the new Need for Speed will be on there soon.

EA Access is brilliant and a bargain (subscription has to be active to play the games).

Add this 50p sim card for £10 voucher :)http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4183727.htm
Thanks for this tip!
Just before went in-store and got myself a PS4 500 GB C (latest model, quieter and more energy efficient), Uncharted 4, Doom, and Ratchet and Clank. Along with a 50p lebara sim to make the total over £300.
At first, only received 2x £10 vouchers and the employee was adamant that was the deal. Even though I explained to him at least 2 or 3 times. Eventually, just went to the customer service desk, and an employee checked through the system and agreed with me. Gave another £10 Argos voucher, thus bringing the total to 3x £10 vouchers, effectively £30.

P.S. I plan on trading Doom and Ratchet and Clank into CEX. Will they give the prices they state on their website? (£32 for Doom and £14 for Ratchet) Also, is it okay for me to open up the two games (they're brand-new and sealed as of yet) and play through them before trading in, will that have any impact on the price they give? Thanks.

I really don't get people on here voting this cold. Yes, there are plenty of other tablets on here costing half the price but they are half the specs.

If you buy this tablet, you get the added benefit of instant updates unlike Acer, LG, Sony, Lenovo, Amazon, Samsung etc.

If you cant afford £100 then fair enough. On the other hand, pick one of these bad boys up 2nd hand or from CeX to get a warranty for roughly £60.
What's wrong with HDUK? This is still an excellent tablet and at £99 there's no competition.

One little advice: don't upgrade it to Marshmallow, stay with lollipop.

Been running MM on mine for a few months now. No problems at all. Much better battery life due to Doze.
Ooh should I return the Amazon Fire 7 Tablet and get this instead?

Is that if you collect in store because I've sent two TVs back no probs when ordering online.
When buying on line you have added protection:Online, mail and phone order sales

Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods aren’t faulty. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’.

You must offer a refund to customers if they’ve told you within 14 days of receiving their goods that they want to cancel. They have another 14 days to return the goods once they’ve told you.

You must refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods back. They don’t have to provide a reason.

Exactly why are people putting up with nonsense from these idiot suppliers.
Moondogg
Received mine last night, to replace my 7 year old Panny plasma 42". I have mixed feelings.

It's certainly big, very slim bezel. The UX is simple, but nice. Full HD in Amazon is sharp, can't check out Ultra 4k as my BB is lousy here in the country. I really like the casting from iPhone Youtube to the big screen, makes it a joy to use. there's a simple PVR in there as well for DTV.

But...

Maybe I'm just not used to LCD TVs, or thought that they had got better over the years. It just looks washed out, there are no real blacks, only greys. And it feels as though there is some kind of diffusing film over the screen Viewing angles aren't great too. And the light bleed from the sides is quite visible.

It is also VERY bright, that may be a good thing for daytime, but I found it hard to adjust for nighttime viewing. With at screen this size every time an advert comes on with a white background (especially after a dark scene) you feel blinded. And that's on the dark cinema setting. So more to play with there.

Whilst the OSD is nice and all, it does feel sluggish if you're used to Amazon Fire etc. It does the job though, just feels like a step backwards.

I will decide in the next few days as to whether it stays. Perhaps I am expecting too much as a lot of the above criticisms are inherent in LCD technology. Still can't help feeling a bit disappointed.

OLEDs at this size are more than twice the price so it needs to put it in perspective.

Just my 2c, hope this helps.

Pretty much spot on! Im not changing my panny commercial panel until oled hits. I just want a second tv but cant get on with lcd at all.

If cancelling the order within 14 days, I'm pretty sure that you have to return the goods in the same condition in which they were supplied, ie unused. If they are not in the same condition you lose the right to cancel.
