they do a 37" at £352.44, I only say cos i'm looking for a 37". Price seems cheap but I would probably spend a few extra quid and get a better known make (personally)

Cold - cheap & nasty turd. You get what your pay for. People on here are obsessed with cheap rubbish.
#5
Voted Hot as it has a higher contrast ratio than the more expensive 42inch Vistron Tv.

A quick lok on AVforums dosent yeild and bad reviews so can you back up this claim. I know its cheap and not a recognised name but that don't necissarily make it rubbish

You waste your money then. I'd rather spend a bit more and get quality like www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=PANA-TH42PX80-DVDR

Still i suppose some of you buy your meat from aldi.....

Looking at the reviews on the Aria TV page, this is a TECO lcd. My uncles got the 42" version of this and its excellent.
Also "contrast ratio", I have read a few review sites about this, they say that manufacturers measure them differently which is why you sometimes get a big difference, also they cheat a bit to get a better figure and you carn't compare LCD & plasma that way. The best way to get a good idea is go to Comet or Currys and go down the line of TV's, look what best suits your eyes then check on the speck.

Sorry but that is the worst place in the world to go and compare tv's of any kind. You need to go somewhere where they have been set up properly not just put on dynamic and an aerial plugged in.

Biggest problem is that it is not 1080p resolution. Starts to become significant on this size of screen IMHO.

Having worked as a butcher making sossijes, they do indeed put in cheeks and other less common parts of the animal, but the ears, eyes and *rses go in the bin. Remember though, the best tasting meat is the muscle that does the least work (fillet, rump, rib). So just becuase you can't roast it because it's quite small, doesn't make it bad quality. But do check the meat content on the ingredients, it should be 80-90% of the sossij.

I think I'd prefer Premium Panasonic Sausages (less fat and more pixels) Yummy!

Actually it's not that bad an idea, buy a tv showing the best piccture with a rubbish source connected in store. All LCD'S look nice showing a HD source but when you get home and plug an SD source (as most TV's are still used for) many disapoint.

Most would disagree and say it's irrelevant until nearer 50" plus. Most 1080p LCD's give a worse SD picture as well

A "Grade A Samsung Panel" means nothing if it's being driven by a rubbish Engine and electronics.

Rubbish sales blurb

Don't know if you've been into these places lately, in Tamworth, the new Comet & Currys stores have all HD TV's set up to HD imputs, you can see the difference.
