Taken from amazon review -

"One thing worth mentioning, as it neglects to tell you under EXTRAS on the box cover: This Blu-Ray edition is the U.S. theatrical cut with the S-Mart ending - but the Director's Cut appears as an "extra" in standard definition. "[/]

So you get both endings (I slept too loooonnnggg!) altho only the theatrical cut's in HD

Hail to the king baby! HOT HOT HOT!!!!

Gimme some sugar !

Class movie. Prefer the S Mart ending anyway (which this has) to the the Directors cut ending.

I have this and the 2 disc DVD edition and I have to say that the DVD edition is the better of the two. It's Nicely transferred though.

I also bought Evil Dead 2 on Blu Ray, OMG they messed that transfer up. Some films were never meant to be seen digitally enhanced. Evil Dead 2 is definitely one of them.

I have Evil dead 2 on Bluray and I think it is much better quality than the DVD. On a TV this may not be as noticable but on my projector there is no comparison.
