Arniston Bay 'The Shore' Wine £3.00 A Bottle At Spar

Was just in for petrol at my local garage and in the Spar shop they had this wine at £3 a bottle. They have the Red, White & Rose versions.

Pretty sure it's about £4.50 or 3 for £10 in Asda or Teso

Not sure if these deals work nationwide or whether it's just local. But at £3 a bottle it's worth keeping your eyes open.

Just opened a Red and it is very drinkable.

£3 for 75cl in your screenwash. Are you a millionaire?

It's always nice to have a couple of bottles in the boot - just in case you get stuck in the snow :whistling:

i dont understand why this deal has been voted so hot -
a wine that is normally priced at 3 for 10 (£3.33 each) selling for £3.00?

there's lots of quality wines discounted to half price at supermarkets at the moment (new zealand wines for example, 4.50 down from 9.00, genuinely down from 9, not just pretend) and I haven't seen them posted...

Post them then...:?

Do folk on here like to complain about everything?

Yes mate they do!! Does my head, oh you can this at so and so and there's an offer on here, well post it them and stop post bashing!

I on the other hand think it's a good deal I've had the rose (partners choice!) and that is really nice I was surprised so I think I will be checking my local and try this.

Thanks for posting heat and rep coming your way...

Where and what - be intersted to see these "genuine" reductions

Agree the above deal is OK for those who only get to a local shop rather than big supermarket where most of the wine deals appear.

I've regularly posted super deals on quality NZ wine (as low as £2.88/bott) but they rarely get any heat. Here's an example:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/545698/double-discount-oyster-bay-nz-sauvi

That said, whilst this one was a genuine reduction some of them aren't. Those NZ wines you've never seen before with a claimed £9rrp are more like a £5-6 value, but the deals can still be good when they come below £3.

This is a site populated largely by people who know the price of everything and the value of nothing. 'Hot' booze posts are usually for lager or similar. If you spend too much time on here you could start to despair over the future of the human race! However HUKD has done me a few favours so I keep trying to give some in return.
