I bought a couple of these a few months ago.

Great range of colours (the pictures don't do them justice), and a great size for a trip needing a packed lunch, drinks and a few smaller items.

This is the RRP and it's normal selling price.

Very good value but not a 'deal'

Just got one. Decent quality.

Got four of these last time for the family. Not massive but still holds an impressive amount. Compact and handy, especially good for spreading the carry load amongst everyone.

Possibly, but what then is a 'deal'?

If something is just good value without being discounted then should we post it?

Im not sure at what point it just becomes advertising for that company's product...

I'm sorry, but pedantic is totally wrong - can't you understand that this site is called hotukDEALS, and if we all posted stuff that we thought was good value for money then the name should be changed to 'greatbuys' or perhaps 'siteforsavingmoney'....... but then you've got money saving expert and all sorts of other things around.
I like the idea of scanning down through the latest posted deals in case something catches my eye as an impulse purchase, and then I check the categories I am interested in afterwards - I don't want to wade through page after page of 'normal' retail prices which I could easily do by going to a website like Tesco or Argos !

Which brings around an interesting question of perspective of the criteria for the definition of a deal.

A rucsack for under £2.50 does seem like a deal - simply because the unit is sold at the RRP doesn't prevent it from being a deal surely? If the RRP was £9.99 would this then become a deal (i.e. if the merchant added on just to take off so mugs think its a deal?).

Isn't a deal more about market value, a crude measuring tool being Google shopping whereby the next cheapest option is over double the price.

bought one for taking lunch to work, light and portable. brilliant price

It's a really, really good price :) I paid £17 for the Berghau 24/7 20 rucksack and enjoy that it comes with a Lifetime guarantee.

Head added here

Even more amazing how jealous some people get of some one getting some heat. :p

The same price buys a 5L kid's size in the same design and £1.99 gets you an ultra compact foldaway10L backpack. I bought a couple of the latter today for the car.

No. It would be a scam - and illegal at that (Trade descriptions act 1968 et seq.)

Was going to buy one, but you have to write a book about your life to register an account with Decathlon. Not worth the time.
Besides, we aren't allowed bags in prison. Contraband, etc etc...
#38
youll defo see these on ebay after few days for £9.99
