arsenal v newcastle at the emirates stadium going cheap and on general sale at the arsenal website, but be quick. tickets cost only £10 for adults and £5 for under 16's for the lower tier and £20 adults and £10 kids for the upper tier. these are very special rates as every arsenal game at the emirates stadium have been sold out. ive wanted to go for ages but tickets are never available, even though im not an arsenal fan, i love football and the stadium ive heard is amazing so worth a go if your a real foot ball fan. can take the whole family for £30!!! although booking fee aplies at a pound or so per ticket.

Please note this price only happens once a year so if you do pick a football match to attend this should be it as its a special fans thank you price from arsenal.

Voted hot, got my tickets yesterday. This is the game of the season selected by Arsenal to go on sale for £10 per ticket. Even though we'll be sticking out our young guns, it should be a good game.
#2
Still pretty expensive for a glorified reserve team game.
#3
it shouldn't be a reserve team out as this cup will be important to both teams, plus a cup game between two top premiership teams this early in the season in a stadium where the cheapest tickets normally cost £100 and are always sold out cant be bad can it? also bought a sat nav using my other post of £15 off ANY order at amazon when signing up for dvd rental @3.99 per month so i can find where it is, lol.
#4
Arsene gives the youth a run out in the carling, usually with a sprinkling of 1st team players, he feels the carling cup is not of that important.

normal and quite decent seats are £40 for arsenal.
#6
The tickets were always at that price - or at least they were that price for Newcastle fans.
#7
The Carling Cup is a reserve/youth team cup, it's lost so much value over the years, when a minnow team performs a giant kill in this competition nobody bats an eyelid anymore as it's almost expected as it's just the youth team that has been put out by the Premiership side.

£10 for tickets for this is about right, certainly no bargain. Haven't voted hot or cold.
#8
got one, my first arsenal match!!
#9
C'mon Toon Army!!!
£10 wouldnt b bad for me, since i am a Newcastle fan, but about £50 return coach, 6hrs thr, then 6hrs back, o well still worth it, to see Arsene Wenger's unhappy face at full time :-D
#10
pitty it wasnt at st james stadium!!!
#11
So can i go to the Arsenal box office at the stadium and by my tickets?
#12
Hot from me. Any prem footy (teams) match for £10 is hot.
Barnet at £15 is still warm.
#13
excellent deal - been wanting to go to the emirates for ages. At this price I can afford to go and I can't wait. Heat and rep added
#14
Shame its on a Tuesday. Still voted hot.

Thou should be housed in a place of safety and given the appropriate treatment till you regain your sanity.

Yep, I am sure Arsene Wenger will be saving all of his star names for this fixture :whistling:

I bought a ticket as its a few days before my birthday I plan to go on my own you think ill be ok? i have no friends you see! :p
#20
Awesome.

Had to pay £20 because there didnn't seem to be any seats together in the lower tier. Still fantastic value and an opportunity to go to the Emirates.

Arsenal's young players are better than most Prem players anyway. Look at last year's Carling Cup

Well the league top would say otherwise

Cheers for that mate, just booked 2 adult tickets and 1 child but we have to sit seperately because they don't have 3 tickets together in the upper tier.

Virgin Media are terrible though, just had problems for over an hour with the connection and now they charge 25p in a minute to handle problems, so I had to ask someone else to book it for us.

Rep given to the OP and heat added. :)

Well see at the end of the season. When exactly was the last time Arsenal won anything?

When was the last time your team went 49 games unbeaten?:p

I know the Toon have improved this season - but think that's stretching it.

It won't be a reserve game but it won't include the biggest stars.

In recent years, we've been playing up and coming players, which made a major contribution to then evolved them into the players they are today, which included players like Fabegas at the tender age of 16, so it's also about future superstars.

Last season, we played almost a full strength squad but rested some of the olders players such as Henry and Lehmann but kept a majority of the team playing such as Toure, Eboue, Hleb, Walcott, Adebayor to name but a few but also watch out for Traore who plays as a 17 year old back up to Clichy, this guy has the potential to become the best left back in the world with amazing ball control, lightning speed and much more.

I expect to see a team like this to appear depending on injuries:

GK Fabianki
DL Traore
DC Toure
DC Senderos
DR Hoyte
MR Walcott
MC Diarra
MC Diaby
ML Denilson
FC Bentner
FC Eduardo

So it's still a strong squad, which could give any team a competitive match but some of the superstars will be left out and we should see a few more up and coming players as well.

Hey, how do you order a ticket?

Thanks

thanks very much for this i have been working out a way to be able to afford to visit the emirates and now we can - my little boy is thrilled ite been his dream to see the greatest team in the world
#31
This is a good price to see the best team in the world but Wenger did say last year that he would be playing only the youngsters in the competition this year unlike last year where players like Toure and Gilberto played. But it's still good that more people are getting the chance to experience the best team in the world in the best stadium.
#32
top price and even better team :)
goooners :p

do you need a membership card ?

I mean I have gone through the proccess as a trial and can see I can purchase a ticket but after reading the help guide it mentions a membership card to gain entrance to the stadium with my ticket confirmation email.

Just I don't want to purchase a ticket and travel 200 miles to the ground to find I can't get in because I have no membership card. :(
#34
I dont think we'll play that strong of a team. Gibbs will probably start for us in midfield. Fabianksi will deffo start, Diarra will probably get the nod, depends on if he plays this week in the CL. Denilson should start, possibly Eduardo and Bendtner if he's still with us.

Either way im not fussed who we play. I like to see the young guys play in our stadium as much as the first team. Against such a well supported team like newcastle it will be a fantastic atmosphere.

General sale tickets are paper sent through the post. You will use the same turnstiles as use with the cards, just slide it in and take it back out, then head through the turnstile.

Membership cards are one offs to keep, everytime you buy a ticket it is automatically credited to your membership card.
#36
thankyou for that. Was getting wooried I would need a membership card also. Just have to check there is a train back to Doncaster from London after the game now and transport from the train station to Arsenal to get there.
#37
COME ON NEWCASTLE!
