Spotted this in Aldi Bristol Bedminster. Radio controlled alarm clock with temperature only £4.86, battery included. Seemed a pretty good deal to me. Came in a range of sizes/styles, my girlfriend picked up a little one that would be great for travelling

Seems to be exactly the same as in this post from a couple of years back - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/36801/ascot-radio-controlled-alarm-clock-/

I have one and well worth the money. I love that I don't have to fiddle with it when the clocks go back/forward.

These are brilliant - we have used Oregon Scientific ones for years and would not be without them now - time always 100% correct, no questions !!....and at this price...a steal

We've got two of these (same as the main picture), had them a couple of years, they seem reliable and haven't had to change a battery yet. You can set the alarm for a different time at weekends and then just leave it to do its job.

Good price, are these store available in all Aldi stores.

These are great. Anything that's not a Radio Controlled clock these days should be banned!

i can see what your saying about reseting twice a year not being a chore, but its just the knowledge of knowing that every night it corrects itself, if you need to be up at a certain time or monitor your progress to being ready for somthing their great. i know i'm a bit an*l, but 5 minutes saved is an extra 5 in bed. great price compared to argos and the like too :-D

There's always a nay-sayer out there! With some clocks it IS a chore and £4.86 to have one clock guaranteed accurate is hardly big money.

These things were well over £20 just a few years back (Oregon Scientific ones).

Hot!

Have just phoned Aldi to see if it's national. They say it is but have been quoted a price of £9:00 something.

I think that's a wall one in the current offers.

I can't find this alarm clock on their site. Doesn't appear to be a current or upcoming offer.

I have one of these Ascot clocks - I have just changed the battery and now need to reset the time zone (I keep it in France). I cannot find the instruction book, and don't know how to change the time zone. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Norman
