Pointless in this country, bought a BBQ last year, used once last summer, not come out of the garage this summer at all!

Maybe, but that post was over a month a go and is worthy of a repost. £15 for a gas BBQ hot in my books, OK it may not be a 3 burner Outback but it's def a worth while buy. I may even buy the old couple next door one for their anniversary as they like the idea of mine.

oO wtf. I live ten miles outside of Glasgow................and have had loads of BBQ's and also visit friends way up on Orkney and they also have BBQ's, so unless you live beside Santa Claus in the North Pole, your talking rubbish!

£15 for a gas BBQ, seems a good deal to me. Heat Added.

they are rubbish - they do not have a space for putting lava rock - so its not really a bbq - more like a gas grill you use outside
#16
Not bought this one but I bought the table top one for the caravan reduced from £20 to £10, absolute bargain and excellent build quality.

I thought that when I bought a 3 burner Asda BBQ a couple of years ago, but suprisingly the food still tastes "Barbequed" - can't work out why, but it's the first gas BBQ I've owned and so far, chuffed to bits with it :)

Maybe be a bit on the small side and lack features of a more expensive BBQ but great value for 15 quid.

I agree, Mine's in the shed, only used once, and will be going to the local tip soon.
Whereas I've used my charcoal BBQ about 10 times this summer.
Not trying to reignite the Gas / Charcoal debate, but this particular gas grill (can't really call it a BBQ) is pants.

I am in agreement with "muchus". I much prefer the charcoal BBQ. They cook more evenly and the taste is a whole lot better than a gas BBQ.

Gas BBQs preduce a fraction of the carcinogenic cyclo alkanes of charcoal burners, in addition to not depositing traces of coal tar on the food.

But obviously a little cancer risk is worth it for that slight coal tar flavour!!!

We took £1ish BBQ tins to the beach this summer, and used them for reheating pizzas! No dripping fats to make the cycloalkanes, and folded chicken wire let the pizza heat upside down.
