They've done this deal a few times in the past and I've always bought a net of them whenever the offer was on. The onions are good, decent sizes - not too big and not tiddlers - and if you put the net in a cold place, like a shed or garage, they keep really well without going soft or bad.

Yes, I remember them doing this a while back. I stored in my Garage & they lasted me months and months... Were perfect as it was cold and kept fresh, i do the same with my Large bag of Tatties i get from Morrisons for £3.00..

Excellent for making big batches of soup which you can freeze in tin-size tupperware and then microwave in the morning for work (get yourself a food flask) while you're in the shower. Cheap, low fat and thermonuclear hot.

Yes fab - just check that they're British - support our farmers!

Yep top tip for Xmas if you've no room in your fridge buy a big cheap plastic box with a lid on and put it outside - store all your veg, salad, cheese etc that you can't fit in your fridge. Outside is nature's fridge and as long as it's protected it will be fine!

Shame they are battery onions, you should see they conditions they are grown in. I prefer free range, they get to run around outside:

Its true they are buried alive in S*it and soaked in water daily and left
out in the cold, think about this while you eat your £1 onions.

Will someone please think of the Onions !!
