Is Cillit Bang lime and grime included in the offer? That stuff is the nuts.

I don't think I'd fancy it on mine, but whatever turns you on!

Yeah, that's the one I was wondering about - worth stocking up if it is :)

I went in yesterday and it was 2 x 15 Finish tablets for £5. Don't know if this deal will be better.

Shame they're also bumping other prices up massively. Own brand decaf tea bags have gone from £1 for 80, to £1.98 since Xmas. They were doing Tetley decaf 80's for £1.50, but they've just jumped to £2.28 in a week ! Lots of other everyday essentials have rocketed too, so don't be seduced by these loss-leaders, they're creaming us elsewhere in our weekly shop. By all means stock-up, it'd be daft not to, but as good as these deals make us all feel, every week I come away from my local store enraged by yet more massive price hikes.

Anyone who has the March copy of asda mag (freebie) or can still get hold of it there is a voucher for 35p off 750ml domestos valid untill 01/09/2010 so potential to get it for 15p!! also 50p off cif cream cleaner just incase that happens to be included in any deals!

Yes Cillit Bang Lime & Grime is in the offer!

And the prices that were mentioned shooting up in price were probably on rollback offers. All offers have to end eventually and go back up in price whatever the store or supermarket.

Many of them aren't. The Adsa own brand decaf tea bags were 89p for a great while, then overnight jumped to £1.39 (+57%). After a letter of complaint an offer appeared for '2 for £2', obviously dropping them to £1 a pack which would have been a much more acceptable rise (11p). This offer ran for about 3 years (I think) eventually ending about 3 months ago leaving them at the £1.39. Then suddenly, they jumped to £1.89 (another 36%). If they'd added 10p every 3-4 months over all this time it would have been much more appeasing, but any sudden hike generates ill-feeling, especially in a grumpy sod like me. The Tetley tea-bags I mentioned were not highlighted as a 'Rollback' or any kind of offer, but they have now settled at £2.28 from the price I was paying of £1.50, some 52% dearer. I accept that ALL prices go up, inexorably, but these sudden jumps are a bitter pill, and provoke me into looking elsewhere, and even paying more elsewhere in protest. If/when I do spot any bargain decaf tea-bags I'll stock well up, and post them on here for others :p
