Visit the Asda online grocery website and under the Special Offers tab they have 6 cases of assorted beers for £48. Use the discount code of M4 78 DD 87 for £10 off a £35 spend (or use one of the many other codes about) and add on delivery charge of £3.95 - works out at 120 containers for £41.95 or just undet 35p each.

Be aware that the cases only contain 20 bottles or cans (some only have 18) and that the maximum content is 440ml.

Stock up for Xmas - a mix of Fosters, Stella, Becks and Kroneburg works out at 35p a tin/bottle.

I can't see anything like that in beer or special offers. Maybe it's my local store being different. What's the exact name so I can search for it?

I assume you meant they had 20ish for £8 and you're suggesting we buy 6 of them? 20 for £8 is 40p each before discounts or delivery (I've used all of the decent codes already) and they were already selling Carlsberg for that price recently.

It's called Bulk Beer and it's a multisave type deal. You can buy 6 lots of 20 (whether cans or bottles) from a limited choice list for £48.

Just to clear this deal up.......

All the cases previously mentioned, namely Kronenbourg (bottles x 20), Fosters ( cans x 20 ), Becks ( bottles x 20 ), Stella ( bottles x 20 ), Carlsberg ( cans x 20 ), PLUS Boddingtons ( cans x 18 ), John Smiths ( cans x 18 ) and Strongbow Cider ( cans x 18 ) are at a fixed price of £9.98 at ASDA.

The Multisave gives you 6 cases for £48 saving £11.88 over the individual case prices. (offer ends 11/30/2006)

Make use of the vouchers posted and this could be reduced by another £10. £38 for 6 cases of beer/cider sounds pretty good to me!

Also, remember that if you have an ASDA credit card, you get Free Delivery on every online order at ASDA. Handy if you're a regular shopper there.

Deal voted HOT and rep added.

If its any help you can get these instore for £48. Great deal considering 20 becks can be anything from £13+
#7
It never has seemed to have worked online. This deal was discussed 2 weeks ago in this thread :
http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31523
It only appears to be an instore deal, but on the website in the FAQ it states that The special offers presented to you during the online shop are identical to those that are in store.

Barneybar, have you managed to do this deal.:)

If some of you, like me, are not big beer drinkers and neither are your family then Tesco have an offer for 2 x 20 bottle packs of Becks for £18.
#10
I just checked the site and I can see the deal as it pops up when you hover over the multisaver icon beside the beer. But when you add 6 cases to your trolley the discount isn't big enough. They've obviously got something wrong there. I'll email them.

not working for me either :{ same as above ^^^^^^

Just called Asda and they have confirmed that the offer is valid, but their is a problem with their website. I was advised to order the beer and the correct discount will be applied one the order is received.

Anyone know if they've closed the loophole whereby the £10 discount was deducted on the total BEFORE the multi-save savings were deducted? If it HASN'T been closed, I reckon there are 72x 440ml cans of Carling to be had for £17.99 delivered..... 25p per can!!

Thanks for that. OK, very simple. If you log in and click on special offer then multi saves it is offering 24 packs of 440ml Carling for £12.98, or 2 packs for £18 or 3 packs for £24. Put 3 packs in your basket and due to Asda's website glitch the 'proper' discount of £14.94 doesn't show but WILL be honoured on delivery. As the 'before multi save' price is over £35, apply the £10 off £35 code, add on the £3.99 P&P and Robert's yer mother's brother. £17.99 delivered for 72 cans of Carling!

Just to confirm I did this a few weeks back and it works. The price it showed me online was incorrect also but it does state somewhere its an estimate. They will charge you the correct amount in the end.

I bought 6 crates for £48 + 12 bottles of tiger beer and it came to:-

ASDA HOME DELIVERY WWW. £50.99

Also the delivery note that comes with it shows the wrong amount, it didnt show any voucher, but they do include the voucher when they charge, that is stated on delivery note also.

Hope this helps, Im stocked up for xmas!

Hi I rang customer services as I put in the 6 cases and had a low discount, anyone ordering this will pay the store price, mines coming tomorrow. I`ve also ordered 2 of the organic lagers so if I`m lucky it`ll be cases or otherwise bottles. £10 discount worked for me.

:pirate:

Thanks for the original poster sharing his discovery BTW !

Gotcha bellboys.Simple really eh!....didn't really have my thinking cap on for that one. This is better than the 6 for £48 deal,if you like carling that is. Rep added mate.

Hi, did as listed adding 3 x Carling Lager but upon checkout my total was £30.97... if I subtract the £14.94 as said then my total would be £16.03?? Please explain? How will I know I will get the discount?

The problem is that the deal is not registering correctly.Asda CS say that you will be charged correctly as per instore price. If when it arrives all is not as it should be either refuse it or as i will do,accept it,then ring CS.If it is not resolved (it will be)simply tell them that you want to have it returned and require a refund.Their CS is first class IMO.:)

Thanks bazr...

They've removed the guiness and the carling from the 3 for £24 offer online.:xOnly showing the bottles of grolsch.
Rang my local store and they say the offer is still running there.
Got an order of the carling coming this morning, will see what happens. Will keep you posted.

Mine came and despite saying 3 for £24 on the bill it didn't actually go through at 3 for £24 :) (Seems to have gone through at 3 for £33)

Quick enquiry to customer services will sort it out as usual.

Exactly the same for me Artemis. It even says on my delivery note BULK BEER OFFER 3 for £24, reduction - £5.94.£38.94 - £5.94 = £33.Go figure.
Called CS.....Charming Asian lady said she had to ring the delivery store and she would call me back.....that was 1 hr ago.:x
#29
I don't bother phoning, I just send an e-mail and say I'd prefer to deal with it using that method. Takes a few days longer but always gets sorted (Or has so far anyway).

Not worth the hassle of phoning until that's the last resort.

exactly the same here
but i have been waiting for 2 hours for them to call me back
also i have the £3.99 postage on my bill £36.99

Had to ring back as i had no call from them.Bit of a f**k about but they agreed to refund the £9 difference to my account. They were saying that the offer had expired and therefore was not valid.I stuck to my guns and insisted that the offer online said it was on till the 30/11 and should be honoured and finally they agreed. This is the only time i have had chew with CS and has put me off using them again.....until the next big deal comes along that is:giggle:

Just rang a local store who confirm that there is no offer on the 24 packs, but the 18 packs are £9.98 each or 3 for £24.Online these are only showing as the bulk buy 6 for £48.They need to get their act together. :x
#34
I was gonna order some earlier and saw that online about them confirming the 3 for £24 offer would be honoured for online orders as well but when I logged in there was only grolsch on the offer and to get stella or any other I would have had to have the 6 for £48 so didnt bother 6 cases is a bit to much on top of wine and spirits for christmas. I found it all very confusing to actually work out was was in the offer.
#35
Got mine today 6 x cases of Becks.

I did get the discount in the end but it came through on the invoice in 2 seperate discounts (£8 and £4 circa).

They have taken the 6 for £48 off the site at the moment for Becks anyway (You can only order 5 cases so cant get the deal) Maybe it will come back if they can sort the multi buy ?

Really with the £10 voucher its a silly good deal, the Becks works out at 35p a bottle, I normally get it from Sainsburys (Who are always cheap for beer deals) It normally comes in at 45 - 50p with them when its on offer.

So a great spot, hope it starts working again as my old man and a few mates wanted the cheap Becks.

Incidentally the Heniken import bottles are also very cheap at 20 bottles for £11.98 (Cheapest I see them normally is £17 - £19) also Bitburger lager 4X330are in the 3 for £9 offer if you want quality over quantity....again very good beer for cheap money.

I am presuming these are in store prices as well, the nearest Asda to me is around 6 miles away we normally shop at Sainsburys which is less than a mile away but with some of the multibuys and vouchers its definately worth getting stuff delivered.

The 6 for £48 offer appears to have ended. The only offer now is 3 for £24.
This offer includes the following:
Carling 18 x 440ml
Carlsberg 20 x 440ml
Fosters 20 x 440ml
Boddingtons Draught 20 x 440ml
John Smiths extra smooth 20 x 440ml
Grolsch 24 x 300ml bottles
Kronenbourg 20 x 300ml bottles
Stella 20 x 284ml bottles
Strongbow 18 x 440 ml
So if you buy any 3 of these, add other items for just over a fiver you can make up your £35 order and use the £10 voucher and pay about £23 to get your booze for £18 plus your other fivers worth of goods delivered to your door.:)

Nice, I might make another order now they've changed it up :)

I had my discount applied. People should use e-mail, no dealing with annoying people on the phone and I have never had a problem yet. I think they appreciate not having to deal with angry customers so just hand over the cash :)

I complained via email on Saturday as I was charged £52 instead of £42. Still had no response.
