Asda on Isle Of Dogs have quite a few boxes.

Agreed but that's what makes them so special, you miss them when they're gone makes them extra tasty when they're available

#18
i can confirm this deal.

just got back from picking up my muller lights, and decided to open a box of creme eggs,... as poster said to.

took them to the checkout and came through at 2p each....

only purchased 6, but they had many more boxes i could have opened.

thanks alan :)

Cheers m8! Might pop by later and stock up on a few..

Might be a bit suspicious taking about 50 to the self-service checkouts, though! - not that it's thievery, btw.
#20
2p! Bet they can't even make them for that much. Hot hot hot

feels like it though opening boxes to get them at 2p, can't see them approving if your caught
#22
a lot of stores still have them loose at the tills I believe too... :whistling:
#23
I will look but know I`m wasting my time our Asda (Metro Centre Gateshead) never has the offers posted on here....

BOXED ONES > LOOSE ONES

loose ones tend to be battered, sticky and part opened.

Hot from me.

Maybe you could liberate a few multipacks then go and read the magazines or otherwise leave the shop for 15 minutes before making your purchase of said eggs?

Can't see anythng wrong in what people are saying as 1 = You're paying for everything so there's no stealing going on and 2 = There's no way it could be criminal damage as they only stop you after you've left the shop by which time you've paid for your "damaged" goods... at the end of the day it's not your fault they've got them priced at 2p is it?!

Don't listen to this misinformation; if you purposely rip open boxes so that they're scanned at the wrong price then you will be committing the offense of deception.
#32
im confused can any1 confirm are the ones in boxes scanning 2p only or are the loose ones 2p :?

All, apparently.

But don't get caught ripping boxes open, 'cos you'd probably get kicked out of the store!

The lengths people go to to get a bargain egg. :whistling:
#35
These are probably a Easter clearance, anybody know the best before date on these? Thanks
#36
come off it!! just imagine getting charged with deception

The defendant must pay double the different because of the Smart Punishment promise from Asda

Joking aside, is it just me who has a moral objection to deliberately (and criminally) damaging goods that don't belong to you to make them unsellable so you can get them cheaper? Why do you think they scan open boxes cheaper?

You can effectively do this to anything in a shop. You can swap the price tickets around, scratch an LCD TV screen and say you'll give them half price because it's scratched - where does it end?

Honestly, I find the attitude in this thread quite disturbing.
