My wife made me a coq au vin in one of these - it tasted awful, the coq was rubbery and she had no wine so used some super lager. With no vegetables she opened a tin of new potatoes and threw in a packet of super noodles instead of the onions. So I'm voting cold because it is rubbish for chicken based casseroles.

Bet the cheeky mare asked you to wash up as well. You might be better off without her bud.
