#6
Curry. Always hot.
#7
Tried Ok. not bad
#8
Gotta be worth £4 for two rubys. have some heat!
#9
its rubber chicken, good for after a session but defo not one you'd forward to sober, price is superb for what you get.........and it does make you appreciate how good your local takeaway is..
#10
I tried one of these and found they were all sauce, very little meat and very salty. It might be cheap but I'd rather make my own!
#11
Really don't like supermarket curry, just tastes wrong, prefer popping down to the local restaurant.
#12
"four bits of chicken is the minimum"

:p lolz thankyu
#13
A hoot at £4 - However not nice stuff - spend more and buy better elsewhere.;)

As it is nationaly curry week myself and a few of the boys from work are having a different curry every day for lunch. Stocking up at Asda to save some pennies... voted hot

On Saturday I bought 2 the 2 for £4, but already packed in bags, Indian and Chinese and had no complaints from the people who ate them. The curries has amply chicken in them and I was suprised at the Sweat and Sour which had 10 pieces, None of the chicken was rubbery and the overall tast of the meals was as good as any take away I have had. Going to buy a couple next time I go to Asda and freeze them.
#16
i saw this on friday night and had a korma and butter chicken, and both were fine. Obvioulsy a supermarket curry is not going to be as good as a restaurant curry, but where in an indian restaurant can you get 2 curries, 2 rice, 2 mini nan, and 2 min snacks for £2 a head!?!
A good deal for what it is.
#17
ASDA's dopiaza curry is amazing. Not quite sure why people are reviewing so badly?!

Also OP, might be worth mentioning 2x curries in the title to get more interest! :)

2x for £7 was a good deal. But £4 is ridiculously cheap. Hot!
#18
Always like the Asda curries.
More authentic taste than the other supermarkets.
Have some heat.
#19
I shall go and take a look. Will I find though as usual that there are about half a dozen different chicken curries to choose from and nothing else? Has the supermarket supply industry never heard of lamb or beef?

However, at £4 it has to be a decent purchase, considering how much you would need to spend on water-injected chicken breasts to be able to make your own.
#20
Nice one :)

Love a good curry, sure this aint gonna be up to the standard I'd get in town but its 2 full meals for less than a starter. Heat added.
#21
I got this on Sunday after seeing someone else get one, the selection of curries is amazing! I've just read about people getting stingy amounts of chicken but I got loads in one of mine and an average amount in the other. Just depends who's serving you.... Well worth the money! HAWT
#22
I love asda curry especially the vindaloo! They are not as good as a takeaway but at least asda has higher hygiene standards, so no added extras to your curry :)

I got a prawn balti and saw they had lamb rogan josh and a sweet potato and something (sorry can't remember) which looked interesting.

The Prawn balti has the big prawns in rather than the tiddly ones.

I just went to Asda near me and didn't see any sign of this deal. Gutted!

I know I should have, but normally there are lots of big posters when they have this deal. I just thought I might be a little early. Bought a scorcher pizza instead, but will try again tomorrow.

It would have helped to have had better information on this deal. After making a pointless trip to Asda, I was told it finished on Sunday. Thank you very much.

Like what better info, it is advertised at the store I visited, Asda Kingswood, Hull, I was there yesterday which is MONDAY....so therefore it may have finished in your store on Sunday but not in mine....others will soon no doubt update.

Good deal but I am not a fan of their Madras curry.
Far to many curry leaves, but not bad heat.
#31
Looks like someone has expired it however its not an expired deal...

I've had a dicky stomach and the runs all day because of it. STAY CLEAR!

Thanks for reporting its on in some stores, apologies to those whose Asda's are not running this promotion...I would have thought it was a national thing.

Agree with most on here, don't expect these to be as good as a proper take away/restaurant meal, but at £4 for all this lot you can't go wrong.
