About time! Oil price down 10% on what it was, glad to see the diesel user is not being penalised any longer :)

Doesn't affect me since I paid 132.9 yesterday.

Well done Andy Peake, done more on fuel price reduction than the chancellor did in the budget.

FFS people moaning about the Diesel user paying more.... you get more miles to the gallon as a matter of fact usually at least 50% more, so you should pay more.

Hopefully the other forecourt fat cats will follow suit. They're quick to hike prices within 24hrs when prices go up, despite most of them still selling fuel manufactured when prices were lower, yet they're always slow to drop prices when the reverse is true.

So much for the chancellors speech about families feeling the pinch at 130p per litre and making nonsense concessions to 1p off to "help the people". Where was the exchequer the last few weeks when my diesel was costing me 140p+ a litre to fill up?

Depends on the car surely??? A 1.2 petrol v a 3.0tdi, hmmm which uses more? Please don't forget that in fuel production, diesel is the easiest to ve made, alot less refining than petrol, so diesel should be cheaper end of

Great logic.

So according to your principle, next time you buy a more efficient lightbulb/boiler/etc for your house, the energy companies should charge you more per unit.

and they pay more for the car, diesel is a waste product and users shouldn't pay more for doing the oil company's a favor

I know lets post another deal where your lucky if it saves you a couple of quid and then make it hottest deal of the day, oh wait :|

Petrol is one of the few things that most people have to buy.

4p/litre off diesel is £2.80 off a tank full for my car, so on a fortnightly fill up that equates to £72.80 saved over 12 months.

Got a long journey down to Reading tomorrow at 6am and need to fill up... was going to do it tonight but will wait till 6am tomorrow if it changes at midnight.

Literally just filled up in Leicester and it was 133.9p. Can't vote it hot though as I still feel like I'm being ripped off.

Yes - it's a reward for having better taste in cars.

#33
Cold? How silly.

Also: I don't believe you could get diesel that cheap last week.

Yeah, good thinking, because this is a permanent price job. Chances are it will be back up in 2/3 weeks...

So you would be willing to drive to the station and back home tonight? Surely that negates the whole point of trying to make a saving ???

I just put £80 in after work. Hope the fuel cuts happen across the board.
I tend to stick to Shell, usually at the competitive end of pricing and good quality fuel too.
