Tried it for the first time at the weekend because of the cheap delivery,i hate food shopping and thought it was a good idea BUT their substitutions were ridiculous.

Milk was on offer two for 2 quid of the 4 pints, they sent two lots of 6 pints at the full price, bleach was on offer 2 for a quid and they sent Domestos at full price and on it went, can't be bothered with all that again.

I'll stick to sending my boyfriend shopping lol

I haven't seen it either - really don't like people who THINK they know it all!

Thats really unusual as Asda are the only supermarket that don't charge the difference when they sub items. I use them, Sainsbury and Tesco and they are the only people I allow subs on. I ordered 2 1l bottles of Ribena when they were on offer for £1, as they didn't have them they sent a 2l one which is £4.72 but still only charged me £2. If they have done this to you ring them and they will put it right as its on their price promise thing.

Agree, you should give then a call and explain why you're not happy.... I rang them last week when I ordered 2 bottles of pepsi and should've been £1 each.. when the shopping was delivered I cheched the delivery order sheet (always do just to check) and they'd charged full price.. so rang them and spoke to one person, who then passed me to someone else and they immediately appologised refunded the difference and said that you pay the price it was when you submitted the order... not the price at the till, and the same for substitutions (tesco do this as well for substitutions called price matching)
It is a pain in the butt to have to ring them, especially as most of them have an 0845 number or something.

But I just use this.... http://www.saynoto0870.com/ to find a landline number instead as we get free calls to landline numbers... hope that helps anyway :)
