Highland Single Malt
12 years old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. An outstanding example of Highland malt whisky making. The taste is mellow & subtle. Floral, fruity notes on the nose complement the wonderful vanilla edge leading to a creamy full taste and a glowing, spicy aftertaste. An imaginary line, running from the river Clyde estuary near Greenock on the west coast of Scotland to the river Tay in Dundee on the east coast, defined the Highland region. The Highland region is north of the imaginary line. The western Highland malts can be dry with a hint of peatiness which contrasts with the floral, fruity northern & southern highland malts.
Islay Single Malt
12 years old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Islay malts are different to all other whiskies. This single Islay malt is distinctively smokey on the nose, deliciously fruity to tasty & glides to a smooth peppery, smokey, lingering finish. Islay ("eye-luh") is a wind-swept island off the west coast of Scotland. The malts from this region are particularly distinctive. The smokey character inherent in Islay malts is tantalisingly different from all other malts & combined with their fascinating, dry, lingering finish, these malts are truly great whiskies.
