Microwave - From Chilled/Ambient We have given you these instructions as a guide only. Pierce film lid in several places. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 2 minutes (750W). Leave to stand for 1 minute. Heat on full power for a further 2 minutes (750W). Stir and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving. Do Not Freeze Keep Refrigerated

I agree it is an odd product to want to buy at all, but you will need a good bit more than 400g of potatoes, to end up with 400g the finished product by the time you peel and cook them - but hate it or love it, it is surprisingly good value for the convenience! :whistling:

Blimey, they'll be selling frozen boiled eggs next. Just pop in a pan of boiling water for 4 minutes :p

Voted hot on behalf of my mother in law. She has arthitis & is unable to peel potatoes & as she lives alone, this is ideal for her.

I find this sort of stuff has too much salt. I bought 4 of Tesco's version, reduced. Ate 1 pack and threw the other 3 out. It's a pity to waste it.

boil and mash skins too, full of fibre......or buy peeled spuds :thumbsup:

good deal, will buy some later...great for folks like me that don't have the time or can't be Ar88ed to do it properly

Or buy the frozen mash at 59p for a 650gm bag - big enough to top shepards pie for my family of 6 with less washing up.
