Just buy asda own brand non organic frozen veg as the organic has been proved to be the biggest con this century, don't believe the hype save your money forget about organic.

And your evidence for this? Limited use of pesticides is the most important factor for me.

Beware Asda Online - ripoff Terms and Conditions

If the item price goes up they recalculate your bill, AFTER accepting the payment.

Recently bought 14 tins of Tuna at 2 for £3 (down from £3.50ish) and booked to deliver two days later. They sent me an email invoice for £21+delivery, then delivered and charged my card £49+delivery - didn't highlight the change or anything, when I called they made out it was buyer beware.

No it hasn't, there have been NO comprehensive reports that catagorically state organic is no better across the board for taste, production cost, environmental impact or health.

Personally I'm more concerned about the farming methods, whether animal or vegetable and the ethos of organic production, than whether it tastes better, and I don't subscribe to the view that it's ok to eat pesticides, regardless what this or the last government say.

I also think organic meat does taste better, and organic veg is definitely better when delivered from the farm, but non organic veg. delivered straight from the farm would be aslmost as good, but is rarely possible.

They were actually three-packs :-) - a years supply.

What happened was the delivery guy showed up and gave them to my wife, who was not aware of the price. He didn't mention the price rise, nor did the paperwork, so my wife accepted it. ASDA said my wife should have rejected it if the price wasn't acceptable. Implies every time you shop with ASDA, brief your partner on the price of each item, in case they try to double it!

Asda have done that to me before but when I call up and ocmplain they always refund me the difference because I ordered while it was on offer (and the price on my invoice email shows the offer price).

To re-balance the topic of Asda over-charging: I often got "replacements" for out-of-stock items which were more expensive than the one I ordered, and have been charged with the lower price. Also, never had a problem when returning goods or with refunds. I do a lot of Asda shopping online.
