Needed to buy some of these for the stupid kitchen scales we bought from Asda which had no batteries that were meant to be included.

Asda own brand ones in red and black packaging

Should be £3.50
Scanned at the self service at 2p
Went back and bought 30 packets. Karma.

10 year shelf life, that should keep my kitchen scales going for quite some time as well as powering my battery eating 3D specs.

I'm not sure if this is a national price, but maybe worth a check if you are passing.

Revenge on asda!

I found £50.00 someone had left sticking out of the self serve till last Saturday, I handed it in and wondered if karma would catch up with me....well, as luck would have it, I got home and opened my DIY Enchilada kit, only to find I had been given 9 tortillas instead of the 8 the box advised. Ah karma.

If my calculations are correct? (which they probably aren't)
If you'd spent the £50 on enchilada kits, you'd of gained yourself a WHOPPING 250ish tortillas

Now that's a 'Hot' deal! ;)

Can make some money buying broken Pokemon games on eBay, fitting the battery then selling them for double :)

Brilliant find and even better Karma ;-)

Fit a lot of car remotes and the like as well, better than the 10 for a £1 ones and can take back and swap them, whenever at Asda!

...but you see, it wasn't my fifty quid. If it had been my own cashback, and then I found a free tortilla, well that would have been just a normal bonus, and I would have owed the world a good deed to make up for it :)

1. Set something to scan at a fraction of the shelf price
2. Wait for someone to report it on HUKD
3. Set it back to scan at the right price
4. Lots of people take it to the till but can't be bothered to ask someone to remove it when it scans at full price
5. ???
6. Profit!

Bought a pack of two 2032s for £4 recently so a bit sickened by this price but I needed them there and then for my remote key. Heat added, amazing price for those who can find them

I bought these several weeks ago, there were 3 packets left. I would like to see the receipt for 30 packets.

My husband found £10 sticking out the self scan. The store took his details and if no one claimed it after a month it was his. They didn't claim it so £10 for being honest :-)

I also need these for kitchen scales. For some reason the salter digital scales i have eat through these batteries in no time. Unless it was the maxwell ones i got from ebay are fake cheapo ones.

Not a tough one at all for anyone with at least a bit of moral compass

Lol, I wasn't referring to myself there.

The problem is that there's quite a few people out there (and on here) who are nowhere near anything vaguely resembling a moral compass.

Not that long ago I read a HUKD member gloating about the fact that a checkout girl had wrongly applied a promo code and given him a bigger discount than what he was due. He was delighted that she's made the error and did not bother in any way to point it out to her. And I've seen a couple of them too. The other thing worth mentioning are people taking advantage of price errors and glitches. Is that not a little bit dishonest knowing that someone out there has made an honest mistake (and will likely be disciplined or even sacked) yet many HUKD members will gladly take advantage of the situation.

As for myself only just last week I was returning part of a web order to a Decathlon store and the lady actually refunded me in full when it should've only been half of the order. I looked at the receipt twice to make sure before looking back at her to see if she had realised she'd made a mistake.

She looked back wondering why I seemed to have an issue with the receipt, lol. Another person, lacking a moral compass, would've just walked off with the extra £31 Xmas spending money, but I pointed out to her the mistake. She had been helpful with the web order refund and the last thing I wanted on my conscience was her being disciplined with Christmas just round the corner.

Don't think I'm judging you - apparently we get judged when we die but.....
be careful lol, our local paper had an oldish woman's photo on the full front page for doing that last week, from Asda I believe (from hd cctv footage) - needless to say she got recognised, shamed etc (I don't know about prosecuted) - the money was owned by a little old lady pensioner who was nearly 90, she reported it to the supermarket, they informed the local rag and the police.
I may be wrong, but I think it's an offence.

Think I'd have happily had only 7 tortillas and an extra £50, you got screwed with your karma.

Seriously though, good job on doing the right thing.
