Asda Milk 4 pints now lowest in years 0.89p

£0.89 @ Asda
Saw this in the Metro today. Obviously a drop as a result of reducing fuel / transport costs. Never been this low in a number of years! Shared Via The HUKD App For Android.

Think you'll find Aldi is 2L, whereas Asda is 4 pints, 2.272 litres, so .89p in Aldi & £1.00 in Asda, which it has been for a few years is approx. the same.

No, Aldi is 4 pints. I buy one there almost every day.

No, you're both wrong! Aldi is 2 litres (3.52 pints) NOT 4 pints. However, Aldi charge £0.78 for 2 litres, NOT £0.89 as mentioned above.

https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/product-range/best-of-scotland/dairy/dairy-product-detail-page/ps/p/scottish-wholesemi-skimmed-skimmed-milk/

Iceland's milk works out at 22.25p per pint, Aldi's works out at 22.13p.

;)

Is it a coincidence that milk prices and petrol prices are getting lower at the same time?

Yeah, probably.
