Hi All
I thought I would share a mobile deal on the go.
For all those who thinking of changing networks
Switching to this Asda Mobile deal will get you a free £20 bundle
This gives you 2GB data, 2000 Texts and 1500 minutes.
The only catch is that you use them within 30 days as after 30 days they expire.
Then you top up and activate your next bundle.
Anyway I thought I would share, as I am planning on using the £5 bundle ongoing

Once the bundle is used what are the monthly costs/deals?
#2
I expect £20 as it is the free £20 bundle :).

But no doubt they have other bundles or normal PAYG too.

Does anyone know can you pick up a Sim instore and get this offer?

Many thanks

The way I understand it
There is no fixed contract
This is the tariffs and bundles page
https://mobile.asda.com/pages/tariffs-prices

I would be paying £5 top up each month after this £20 expired after 30 days, I would get 100 mins, 2000 texts and 100MB data.
You are not fixed to any bundles - you purchase a bundle and use it for 30 days, then you purchase another one.
Asda Mobile use the EE network so they apparently have 99.9% coverage
I hope you found this helpful

Update
Sim cards are available in any Asda store - but they charge you 50p
Or you can order online and these will be sent to you free of charge

Thanks OP.
(No idea how a deal to have a SIM with a high value bundle free on it can be 'negative' in anyway. And if you don't just throw away the SIM after that you can always PAYG at competitive rates for talk/text.)
PS
Nice touch : from the confirmation email the SIM anyway comes with "10 minutes, 10 texts and 10 MB of data all for free! "

Thanks, can't understand why this isn't hot:|
It's free (or 50p) for a £20 bundle.

Great thank you - may pop in later as 50p to kill my current TPO contract rather than wait for the SIM to arrive in the post. Porting my number so keen to get out cheaply - may then port at the end of next month to Sainsbury's (need to buy by 31/12 - Kelloggs cereal offer - need to check T&Cs as offer currently posted on here) - or then back to TPO. It would be a lot simpler to take up these offers if I didn't need to keep my number each time oO.

The search facility needs improving. You've probably helped someone else by making them aware of the deal.

REALLY easy to setup, bought the sim card for 50P from instore and you get the welcome bundle

10 mins
10 texts
10mb of data

When you register you get
2gb of 3g data
2000texts
1500 minutes

This should be HOT for 50p or free if you order the sim card online.

2gb of data would do nicely for the Fappening 2014 (imagine black friday with celebrity nipples for free)
1500 minutes of talking to random people
2000 texts to your friends without telling them its you.

I agree - it is an excellent deal
I have also set my daughters phone onto this
Now that I have unlocked my wifes phone - She will also be taking up this offer
#14
Why negative?. It's a good deal. I've ordered one each for my children. They can use for a month then go back to their normal payg.
#15
It is a great deal. My Wife and daughter are using this now.
I believe this was made negative as it had been posted elsewhere on the site - I just never saw it posted.

You're a person after my own heart ... like you, I also jump from SIM to SIM taking advantage of any offers I could lay my hands on. In my arsenal, I have several 100GB EE SIMs, three boxes of Kellogg's/Sainsbury's cereal, and two EE SIMs with £15 credit and 10GB data. And now, hopefully, a few Asda Mobile SIMs :)

In case it helps anyone who has got a SIM and is wondering if they can still claim the £20 free bundle...

This evening 16/1 c6:35pm I claimed a code online and 30 mins later the voucher code SMS came through.
So they were still available earlier this evening

Q: Anyone tested just how quickly the voucher code has to be submitted ? ie can I wait to 2/2 ?
A? I just phoned Asda Mobile and they said 2/2 is the latest date to use the voucher code

So they must give you 1 week from receiving the SMS text

No don't think so (16/1 to 2/2 = 17 days) ... the £20 offer when originally promoted said it ran for 80,000 applicants or to 2/2/15 at the latest - ie I believe this offer, and hence voucher codes to claim it, run out on 2/2 (as per my phone call).
#21
My assumption was that the offer would only be available to new applicants till 2nd February, after which only those who already have a promotional SIM would be able to apply until all 80,000 are used.
#22
yeah you are right offer until Feb 2nd, so not long left to get your £20 bundle.
Its weird I am sure I saw somewhere that it was open until end of Feb.
Thanks peeps for correcting me

As the activation only takes minutes.
If you register on Feb 1st - your 30 days would expire on March 3rd
Hope this helps
#29
Remember folks that you only have until Sunday to get your sim and activate
Therefore it may be worthwhile getting them from the Asda stores now - they cost only 50p

Also curious to know. I got 2 sims and 2 codes - but only using one at the moment. Wondering if I'll be able to use the second voucher after the first month is up.
